Contributing in this role means:
- Carry out the installation, maintenance and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repair of equipment on the various automated production and packaging lines;
- Carry out inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment;

The qualifications sought are:

- Possess MMF class 3A competency certification (an asset), otherwise be ready to complete the certification process (paid for by Saputo);
- Possess an electrical certificate (license C or CRCA certificate) (an asset);

Key Accountabilities:

The Facility Operations units deliver facility management and maintenance services within assigned geographic and/or specialty areas.
You are responsible for performing duties associated with the operation and maintenance of all City facilities including but not limited to; minor maintenance and carpentry tasks, painting, grounds maintenance, snow removal, basic repair duties for facilities equipment and general housekeeping tasks while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and customer service. You may be responsible to work rotational shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of Grade 10
Up to one month of related experience
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES
KNOWLEDGE
- General facility cleanliness and safe work practices
- Cleaning chemicals and disinfectants and safe application/procedures
- Effective cleaning techniques
- WHMIS
- Customer Service principles
- Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including the rights and duties of workers.
