The Delivery Supervisor contributes to the success of the PepsiCo Beverages Canada by ensuring PBC products are delivered to all customers in a pre-determined territory. This individual is responsible for cultivating a strong team environment, motivating the Delivery Drivers to provide superior marketplace execution and customer service while achieving PBC delivery objectives

Responsibilities

• Coach and lead a team of Delivery Drivers on delivery, display execution, merchandising standards, rotation, keep back room clean and organize, and ensure accurate and timely deliveries are achieved 

• Conduct audits in the trade each week to ensure performance targets for merchandising standards, point-of-sale material and product rotation standards 

• Ensure accounts are delivered 100 per centas scheduled 

• Work closely with PBC Sales department to ensure effective service and all instructions are executed; racks, point-of-sale; displays, etc. 

• Follow up and resolved all customer issues, within PBC standards 

• Ensure the delivery organization is fully staffed and trained 

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required 

• 2 years experience in people management preferred, preferably in a sales environment 

• Manage the delivery team in accordance to the Edmonton Employee's Association Wage and Working Agreement and foster positive working relationships with the Association Committee 

• Professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation and initiative 

• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required 

• Demonstrated analytical skills 

• Strong communication and presentation skills required 

• Consumer Products experience in a direct store delivery environment is a plus 

• Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite 

• Previous experience with fact-based direct selling an asset 

• Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle

This position delivers and picks up packages to and from residential and/or commercial properties. He/She performs in a physical, fast-paced environment involving driving, continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. He/She practices safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be working on:

• Delivery of product to Frito Lay facilities and external customers with single or Long Combination vehicles (LCV’s)
• Offloading trailers with carts or hand bombing at destination (average case weight is 4 kgs)
• OTR Drivers must comply with all FLC Controls, Traffic Safety and MTO policies and regulations

Qualifications

The Package Delivery Driver position is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. Package Delivery Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills. Qualified applicants must have a valid driver’s G or higher license issued in the state of Ontario. Package Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided vest/uniform.

Workdays: Tuesday to Saturday 

Shift Start: Tuesday to Friday 9:30AM Start Time(Flexibility required) and Saturday 9AM Start Time (Flexibility Required)

• Deliver and pick-up packages in an efficient and effective manner
