The Plasma Operations team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by collecting plasma in a safe manner to enable safe products which save lives every day. Desired education and skills

  • Completion of accredited nursing program and current license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the province is required. 

  • 2 years of experience working as a nurse is considered an asset as is a certification in First Aid and CPR. 

  • Previous experience as a preceptor or with coaching others is an asset. 

  • Technical skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook, and the ability to learn new systems and programs.

Frito Lay Local Driver Full-time Job

Job Details

Frito Lay (a division of PepsiCo) has a current opening for a Shunter (Local Driver). This role does require you to hold a Class 1 License, but no experience is required!

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize trailer moves to support warehouse efficiencies.
  • Complete the yard check to verify trailer contents.
  • Maintain cardboard check sheets on a daily basis.
  • Interact with vendors, common carriers, and drivers to provide yard information.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Completing Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Food Safety Pre-Requisite Programs (PRP/oPRP) that is required for the applicable area.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to excel under pressure.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to maintain professional disposition even when faced with difficult situations.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and accept new business changes.
  • Perform work in a safe manner and required to follow all safety practices and policies.
