The Full Service Vending Analyst with report directly into the Senior Manager – Customer Vending Initiatives and will be responsible for supporting the Full Service Vending Planners, Supervisors, Managers and OU Vending Leads to identifying machine issues, theft and incorrect driver process.
Responsibilities
- Review full service vending invoices for shortages and overages, complete an analysis to determine the root cause (machine issues, theft, keying errors)
- Coordinate and correct system pricing of full service vending machines.
- Analysis/ Auditing of current full service contracts and addendums to ensure correct vend rates/commission rates are in accordance with the contract.
- Effectively communicate issues to the field (FSV Supervisors/Managers)
- Support the field on initiatives to improve profitability in the vending business
- Run various reports for informational requests for Sales personnel or Customer requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting required. (Preference to degrees in Accounting or Finance.)
- Competent analytical skills.
- Competent personal computer skill (i.e. MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word).

Key Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in business or public administration or other discipline pertinent to the job function, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns with professionalism in customer service and arrange travel-related itineraries and make reservations
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, and oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs, perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of the vehicle, and perform preventive maintenance
- The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo

- Training and licensing new and existing drivers that complies with both corporate and legal requirements.
- Supervising and monitoring the progress of new drivers and conducting detailed performance reviews before the end of their probation period.
- Providing corporate mandated training and testing required for the issue of GO Transit Operator Permits
- Monitoring the license and medical status of GO Transit bus drivers, mechanics, and support staff.
- Conducting driver safety and related public relations programs.
- Investigating collisions involving GO Transit’s vehicles and providing recommendations for action to avoid future occurrences.
- Successful completion of a college diploma in adult facilitation techniques, including needs assessment, designing and developing instruction, delivering instruction, evaluating and managing training programs, communications for teaching, methods of instruction; or any combination of education, training or experience deemed equivalent.
- Must have a valid Class B driver’s license with Z endorsement for a minimum of 3 years and possess a good driving record for the past five years.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain MTO signing authority for Class BCZ licenses.
Between 4-5 years’ experience, including knowledge or demonstrated ability in: - Driving highway coaches and/or regular transit buses.
- Oral, written, and interpersonal communications involving union/management relations, interviewing, and public speaking.
- Creating, organizing, and implementing driver safety and training programs.
- The technicalities of GO Transit operated bus equipment.
- Familiarity with The Ontario Highway Traffic Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Ontario Human Rights Code, Public Vehicles Act, National Safety Code, Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (Out of Service Criteria), and CVOR regulations.
- Ability to effectively represent GO Transit when communicating with the media in the event of a serious collision or incident.
- Word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications.
