Desired Characteristics
Measure length, width and height of a truck trailer and length, width and height of filled pallets to find out how many pallets of products can fit in trailer. Estimate weight of products on pallets to decide whether they can be lifted by forklift.
Communicate with suppliers to confirm details, such as purchase order numbers. Interact with co-workers to co-ordinate tasks and to discuss how to move heavy objects. Interact with supervisors to discuss problems, such as damaged shipments or shortages in orders.
Refer to assembly drawings to perform minor machine repairs or to assemble pieces. Refer to schematic drawings, such as air brake system for a truck.
Receive assignments from supervisors at beginning of each shift and plan how best to sequence tasks to meet deadlines. Adjust plans as needed if new loads arrive from suppliers sooner than expected.
Ability to work with a partner and independently as needed. Use a team approach to get materials ready so that they may be moved out efficiently.

JOB SUMMARY

As an autonomous health professional with advanced education, you provide essential health services grounded in professional, ethical, and legal standards. Nurse Practitioner (NP) competencies reflect advanced nursing practice by building and expanding upon the competencies of a registered nurse.
You function as a member of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of appropriate sexual health services, and are accountable to the Senior Nurse Practitioner, and to the College of Nurses of Ontario for NP practice issues.
Preference for bilingual applicants.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 4 year university degree in Nursing (BScN)
Completion of a certificate demonstrating “Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner” from an approved University
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in public/community health clinic, including in-depth of sexual health and working with populations at risk
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES
KNOWLEDGE
