Responsibilities:

Requirements:

- Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications and related software and willing to train on specialized computer software related to planning matters
- Strong research, analytical and reasoning skills

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport and assist customers and baggage if required when on an assigned bus run
- The candidates should be able to examine proof of payment in the form of proper fare media for the zones traveled and operate fare equipment
- The candidates should be able to take responsibility for fare transactions and tickets for various time periods
- The candidates should be able to reconcile sales records, ensuring the validity of sales and receipts as prescribed
- The candidates should be able to ensure all Transit Regulations are observed by customers
- The candidates should be able to make announcements and distribute and collect marketing surveys
- The candidates should be able to perform pre and post-trip bus inspections in accordance with the most current regulations
- The candidates should be able to maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the bus
- The candidates should be able to ensure seating adjustments are made to assist customers who have special needs
- The candidates should be able to follow prescribed protocols in response to different levels of Safety Alerts
- The candidates should be able to represent Metrolinx and the Metrolinx brand and work in accordance with Metrolinx customer and safety charters when providing customer service
- The candidates should be able to work effectively in a dynamic work environment with a diverse customer base
- The candidates should be able to perform other tasks as assigned and agreed upon with the Union, including non-driving tasks
