The Network Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security and scalability. This role requires deep understanding of network technologies, protocols and best practices, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our manufacturing operations.

Responsibility

• Design and develop robust network architectures that support the company’s manufacturing processes and business operations.
• Implement and configure network solutions, including switches, firewalls and wireless access points
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and connectivity.
• Support network within LNA group facilities maintaining a 99.9% SLA/Uptime this includes but not limited, Firewall, core and Edge switches, access points and any other network critical device.
• Develop and enforce Corporate IT network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
• Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the network infrastructure remains current and competitive.
• Provide technical support to Local IT at facilities.
• Support Local Phone systems.  
• Disaster recovery planning of existing systems, new systems. Test disaster recovery procedures on an annual basis, documenting implementation steps and recording outcomes. Corrective measures to the disaster recovery plans if so required.
• Continuously update technical skills and knowledge of new technologies. 

Academic/Educational Requirements
 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.

Required Skills/Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in network architecture and design.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, standards and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, MPLS).
• Experience with network hardware and software from leading vendors (e.g., Extreme networks Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba).
• Proficiency in network security practices and technologies (e.g. firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption).
• CompTIA Network+ (is Preferred).
• IP Phone hardware and software experience (e.g. Avaya, Cisco).
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The Accounting Associate position is responsible for planning, organizing, and administrating specialized accounting activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts and for developing financial statements and reports. This position is suitable for a recent graduate from an Accounting program who is ready to start the CPA program.

The Electrician position, under limited direction, installs, maintains, test, troubleshoots and repairs industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls. Primarily accountable for interpreting architectural drawings and electrical code specifications and form and test electrical circuits to ensure health and safety regulations. · Take measurements using high voltage testing equipment.

Credentials

· Able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications.

· Technical school training and has completed the apprenticeship program.

· Licensed electrician (309A).

· Minimum two years of previous related experience.

· Able to read schematic drawings in order to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

· Ability to troubleshoot and determine resolutions when encountering malfunctions in equipment.

· Knowledge of phone systems, network cabling, security systems, door access systems and video surveillance systems is an asset.

· Able to work rotating shifts and weekend work, as needed.

· Travel may be required between Guelph facilities.

The Preventative Maintenance Coordinator will act as the primary liaison person between maintenance and operations, while developing, coordinating, and monitoring preventative maintenance programs for the facility. Assist with the training of maintenance employees on the proper technique of preventative maintenance tasks and the importance of the program.

Performance Expectations

• Prepare preventative maintenance plans / instructions and schedules that are in sync with the organization’s maintenance goals and production requirements.
• Work order completion percentage ratio and PM recovery plan development.
• Assist with scheduling person power for regular PM activities.
• Coordinate planned downtimes to maximize MTBF and minimize MTTR and minimize interference with production schedules. 
• Estimate labour hours, tools, and resources needed to complete different work orders.
• Help with keeping an optimal stock of spare parts and materials required for PM in conjunction with the maintenance buyer.
• Prepare and ensure compliance with preventive maintenance checklists and other standardized procedures in the absence of the maintenance supervisor.
• Develop maintenance KPI’s in conjunction with the maintenance manager that show quantifiable values indicating effective and efficient progress towards achieving maintenance objectives.
• Tracking and trending data to develop departmental metrics on percentage of work order completion; benchmarking; overtime; planned maintenance completed on time.
• Tracking deferred maintenance plans and development to reduce the backlog.
• Assist in planning of annual major shutdown activities, and weekend work as needed when production operations are not running and repairs or PM’s / TPM’s must be executed.

Credentials

Millwright 433A License Required or equivalent knowledge and experience.
