EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of the 12th school grade supplemented by technical course related to the work plus some related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Sound knowledge of the RCMP policies, practices, and procedures applicable to the work performed;
• Sound knowledge of automotive equipment related to the work performed;
• Working knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures;
• Ability to perform simple visual checks of completed vehicle servicing and repair work;
• Ability to operate common office equipment including a computer and software programs; 
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various internal and external contacts including established suppliers;
• Ability to perform a variety of clerical, record-keeping, expenditure monitoring, and related clerical tasks;
• Ability to perform simple vehicle maintenance tasks;
• Skill in the operation of automobiles and vans; 
• Some mechanical aptitude.

LICENCES AND CERTIFICATES

Class 5 Driver’s License for the Province of British Columbia.

Enhanced security clearance.
