Job Description
What will you do?
- Proactively engage with clients in all areas of the branch and in the community, uncovering banking needs, providing help and advice, as well as identifying sales and referral opportunities
- Focus on client education and demonstration, leveraging technology to deliver a memorable client experience, drive sales, and retain business
- Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting them with a full range of financial transactions
- Actively listen and engage clients in conversation to further understand their individual needs
- Proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to make the most of business opportunities and referrals

- Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)

What you’ll do:

Health and Safety Responsibilities
- Observe standards for safe working conditions as outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act as well as rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.
- According to OHSA Section 28 (1) (a) (b) (c) (d), (2) (a) (b) (c) and (3):

Responsibilities
Tasks
- Professionalism in customer service
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

How You’ll Help
- Pre-trip trailers in both dock doors and yard and perform minor repairs as reqired
- Work with dispatch and dock to identify trailers to be pre-tripped
- Minor repairs to trailers include but not limited to, lights, glad-hands, etc
- Operate a motor vehicle equipped for pre-tripping trailers
- Report deficiencies to maintenance manager or shift supervisor

- Post secondary education
