Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically fit for physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads
- The candidates should possess hand-eye coordination skills
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required
- The candidates should be able to lift weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

- The candidates should demonstrate dependability in their work, showcasing a consistent and reliable approach to tasks and responsibilities
- The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making processes, highlighting the ability to make sound and thoughtful decisions

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to instruct apprentices
- The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized and other testing equipment
- The candidates should be able to order parts, maintain inventory, and adjust equipment, repairing or replacing defective parts
- The candidates should be able to keep maintenance reports and documentation, ensuring accurate records
- The candidates should be able to test repaired equipment for proper performance, ensuring work meets manufacturers’ specifications
- The candidates should be able to clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in equipment repair
- The candidates should be able to perform repair work on heavy trucks, verifying and repairing emission control systems
