  • Pre-apprentice Trailer Technicians provide support to journeypersons and to apprentices under the leadership of a journeyperson in all aspects of the maintenance and repair of trailers, including but not limited to brakes, suspension systems, surelok, tires (including psi), trailer axles, lighting systems, rear walls and doors, frame and support, chassis, lighting, wiring, hydraulics, heating & refrigeration systems.
  • Apprentice Trailer Technicians, under the leadership of a journeyperson, are involved in all aspects of the repair and maintenance of trailers (see above) and may provide general direction and guidance to Pre-Apprentice Technicians. Apprentice Technicians are expected to work more independently and exercise greater judgment through the various stages of the apprenticeship, obtaining final verification of work from a Journeyperson Technician.
  • Journeyperson Technicians independently repair and maintain trailers (see above) and provide general direction, guidance, mentoring and training to Pre-Apprentice and Apprentice Technicians.
  • Maintenance and repair of trailer bodies, including miscellaneous accessories such as hub caps, decals, reflective tape, painting, etc.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Post secondary training in trailer repair and/or completion of trailer technician certificate course
  • Preference given to applicants with Red Seal journeyperson certification
  • Additional training in tire repairs and/or refrigeration will be considered an asset
  • CVIP, an asset
  • Candidates enrolled in trailer repair apprenticeship may also be considered.
  • Valid Class 1 license also considered an asset
  • Previous work experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the transportation industry
  • Previous experience and qualification to perform Safety inspections are considered an asset in this position,

  • Participate in the development and support of CX COE interfaces to other CPKC systems
  • Participate in the development, documentation and maintenance of custom-built functionality and interfaces for SAP applications, especially SAP CRM, leveraging ABAP where required, and work with other developers in this area
  • Analyze cross-functional integration solution implications and dependencies for assigned projects and recommend appropriate integration solutions for detailed design works or exceptions that balance business risks
  • Support and maintain high-level Integration architecture artifacts timely for projects in compliance with the solution review/approval process and CPKC IS gating methodology

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors of Science in Business, IT or other related field of study, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong SAP CRM development and implementation experience, including ABAP development experience
  • Strong configuration skills - performing requirements analysis and then SPRO configuration

  • Provide assistance and guidance to the Joint Health & Safety Committees.

  • Minimum of secondary education, with preference of post-secondary education.
  • Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) Designation Preferred.
  • A suitable combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Previous Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation would be beneficial.
  • Minimum three (3) years of health and safety experience.
  • Advanced effective written and communications skills.
  • Computer skills - accuracy, MS products, AS400, web based programs.
  • Knowledge related to legal / safe operation of commercial equipment as to local laws and federal compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated customer relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills, Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to implement proactive solutions to support operational demands and efficiencies. 
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment.
  • Presentation skills, and working knowledge of adult learning principles.
  • Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to respond to demands in a calm manner.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to manage demands and resolve issues with drivers, co-workers, etc.

KiSS 107.7 Lethbridge is looking for a fun and upbeat personality to join our morning show! If you love social media, are a team player, love repping your station in the community, and have a positive attitude - we would love to hear from you!

 

What you will do:

  • Co-host the morning show, sharing responsibilities equally with the current host
  • Prepare on-brand, entertaining and demographic appropriate content for on-air and online
  • Actively contribute to KiSS 107.7 socials (IG/FB/TikTok/Twitter)
  • Be a community champion, proudly representing our brand, both on-air and out and about
  • Create fun and engaging content using the phones and socials
  • Voice-track or cover other shifts as appointed 
  • Voice commercials as requested
  • Other duties as assigned
     

What you will bring:

  • On-air experience in Radio
  • Morning show experience preferred but not necessary
  • Creative social media skills
  • Creative station ideas, we work as a team to brainstorm promotional ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Passion for engaging with our audience
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • A genuine, authentic personality who cares about their audience and other team members
  • A positive attitude with a sense of humour will go far! 
  • Familiarity with WideOrbit, MusicMaster CS, VOXPRO and Adobe Audio considered an asset
