What is the opportunity?

This unique position calls on your client-focused sales expertise and natural problem-solving skills to maximize each client interaction. Specifically, you help clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. As an RBC ambassador, you add value in the moments that matter most to clients and collaborate with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals. Whether you’re demonstrating to a client how to use digital banking, on-boarding a new client, or referring a complex opportunity to a specialist, your expertise will contribute to creating meaningful and memorable client experiences to drive client satisfaction and loyalty.

What will you do?

• Proactively engage with clients in all areas of the branch and in the community, uncovering banking needs, providing help and advice, as well as identifying sales and referral opportunities
• Focus on client education and demonstration, leveraging technology to deliver a memorable client experience, drive sales, and retain business
• Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting them with a full range of financial transactions
• Actively listen and engage clients in conversation to further understand their individual needs
• Proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to make the most of business opportunities and referrals

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Mutual Funds accreditation (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
• Demonstrated passion for putting clients first, as well as success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment
• Problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients
• Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success
• Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
• Availability to work all open business hours

Overview

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Trouble shooting/repairs/installations of processing equipment with a working knowledge of electrical to allow efficient repair/replacement results.
• Carry out oral/electronic work requests and apply corrective measures in a timely fashion.
• Have an above average grasp of related mechanical requirements and apply corrective measures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and regular Work Orders and account for inventory and labor. Welding repairs and/or fabrication of equipment parts to Food Safety Standards.
• Extensive mechanical knowledge including power transmission, pneumatics and hydraulics,
• Be able to read and understand mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Machining and fabricating for equipment repair and/or upgrades.
• Welding of equipment or part repair.
• Communicate daily repair activity with Maintenance Team, Production etc.
• Understand and adhere to all plant Food/Health and Safety Polices.
• Input notes, labour hours and parts used into the plant’s SAP computerized maintenance system
• Fulfill all Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, WHIMS, MSDS and BRC and Company policy requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• Poultry processing and food production experience an asset
• Able to work shifts on 24 hour/ 7 day week, Rotating Shifts
• Journeyman Red Seal Certificate holder for a minimum of 2 years
• Accustomed to working with an SAP based computerized maintenance and inventory reporting system
• Excellent English both verbal and written skills
• Self-directed / motivated team player open to new technology with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Able to work effectively in a high pressure production environment
• Strength and stamina required to work with heavy equipment weighing in excess of 25 kilograms
• Must have a full compliment of personal/professional hand tools identified specifically for Food Safety program
• Candidates applying to this role must be able to work a Sunday – Thursday schedule from 9:00pm - 5:30am

What you will do:

• Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
• Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy
• Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment
• Liaise with freight companies and inside/outside customers to determine shipping priorities
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse

What you will bring:

• Previous warehouse experience required
• Knowledge of industry (Plumbing and or HVAC) products is an asset
• General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
• Able to lift up to 50lbs pounds

Salary Range: $40,000- $45,000
