Reporting to the Terminal Manager, Terminal Attendants are responsible for:
- Directing traffic during loading/unloading procedures, pre-inspecting vehicles to ensure they comply with size restrictions and dangerous cargo regulations; redirecting vehicles to the correct holding lane; and identifying vehicles that may represent a safety hazard on the vessel.
- Communicating in person, by phone and by handheld radio with the Tower, Ships Officer, and Terminal Supervisor to ensure the safe and efficient loading and discharge of vessel traffic.
- Maintaining the Terminal buildings and the Terminal grounds including emptying trash containers, sweeping the compound; washing down building exteriors and interior and exterior windows; cleaning the washrooms; and dusting and vacuuming building interiors.
- Responding to passenger queries; providing route and schedule information; and assisting passengers with problems.

- .ring lines; giving the all clear for vessel departure as required; assisting the vessel in ship-to-shore power hook up; checking for and advising the vessel of any potentially hazardous conditions including dangerous goods, oversize vehicles, and weight restrictions; and working with the loading officer and vessel crew for the safe transit of vehicles between shore to vessel. Additionally, operating a variety of company vehicles, including large trucks, in restricted spaces.
- Performing additional duties including stocking the Coffee Shop and general Terminal stores; handling baggage and lost and found items; conducting security rounds; driving the forklift; participating in fire drills and responding to emergency situations; moving furniture; shoveling and salting snow and ice; handling ships lines; and operating rescue boats, garbage compactors, and terminal vehicles.

You are an excellent communicator and work well in a team environment. In addition, you are comfortable working in a physical environment and working outside in all weather conditions. Please note that terminal operations run 24 hours a day, and applicants will be required to work graveyard shifts as operationally required.
You have one (1) year of customer service experience and possess a Class 5 or 7N Drivers Licence with a clean ICBC Drivers Record Report.
Preference may be shown to applicants who hold an Occupational First Aid Level 3.

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic and collaborative team.
As a Project Coordinator, you lead low complexity vessel projects from start to finish—planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. These projects may include vessel refits, dry-dockings, capital upgrades, conversions, or repairs. You work under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager and support more complex vessel projects by assisting Project Managers ensuring the Project Team delivers the defined project scope and deliverables within budget, on schedule, at the required level of quality, and within the acceptable level of health, safety, security and environmental risk. Typical project assignments may include refit, dry-docking, capital modifications, conversions, emergent repairs or improvements to vessels.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is early in their project management career and wants to grow within a structured, high-impact organization while being involved in meaningful, hands-on project work.
The role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Fleet Project Management Office, you add value and are energized by key areas of oversight such as:
- Acting as a single point authority in relation to internal and external stakeholders, with respect to the projects assigned;
- Developing and executing project plans according to established FPMO methodology;
- Liaising and executing contract management processes related to assigned projects;
- Liaising and executing project change management and provide impact analysis to Project Owners;
- Ensuring proper closing of projects, including the capturing and dissemination of lessons learned;
- Assisting Project Owners and Project Managers in developing preliminary and detailed Business Cases;
- Providing project reports and updates to both internal and external stakeholders in the approved format and frequency;

- Administering and following applicable BCFS Fleet Regulations, Health, Safety, Security, Environmental policies and all applicable Regulatory and legal provisions;

- Organizing and chairing meetings with Project Owners, managers, designers, estimators, contractors, personnel, as well as administering facilities and assets;
- Travelling as required to ensure proper planning, control, management and execution of projects;

We are seeking highly motivated, experienced and qualified Marine Engine Mechanics, preferably with marine engine and/or thruster experience to fill a position at our Fleet Maintenance facility in Richmond.
This position will support the refit and capital project requirements for our fleet of vessels and will be performing the following: services, repairs and refits of vessel engines, systems, and equipment including engine components, compressors, and pumps, relief and safety valves, cylinder heads, cooler cores, clutches and engine blocks; measures and inspects bearings, cylinders, pistons, and turbochargers; repairs and tests of fuel injection systems, including pumps and injectors; operates large and small mobile cranes, forklifts and winches. Provides a ‘lead hand’ role for new employees and helpers; and performs additional duties as required.
