Responsibility 

Handle incoming customer calls, process new load orders, and input them into the Fleet Management System. 

Verify all load information to ensure all necessary information is correct, such as weight, times and location. 

Collaborate with logistics and dispatch to address and resolve outstanding issues. 

Engage in problem solving and conflict resolution with customers as problems arise. 

Review order list board for selected queries to ensure accuracy. 

Provide customers with timely updates on load information. 

Perform additional duties as assigned 

 

Academic/Educational Requirements 

Completion of Secondary School Diploma. 

 

Required Skills/Experience 

1 to 2 years of experience in a customer service role. 

Experience in the transportation industry as asset. 

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. 

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The Bilingual Customer Service Representative provides customer service and front line support to clients with respect to the maintenance and operations of their buildings. The Operations Centre is a critical environment within BGIS Canada, responsible for receiving and dispatching facilities service requests for its clients – 7/24/365. The work environment is fast-paced and client-service focused.  In order to ensure ongoing performance success, Operations Centre team members are measured against service delivery metrics.


The Customer Service Representative is required to provide service in English and French. 

 KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learns client account details, the service request/work order management systems, the telephony system and Operations Centre policies, processes and operating procedures
  • Fills basic client requests including creating and dispatching work orders to appropriate internal and external service providers and relaying appropriate information to front line facilities managers
  • Assesses and accurately assigns level of priority to facilitate timely fulfillment of service requests

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Monitors physical security operations at the client Datacenter. 
  2. Monitors cameras and access control systems covering data calls and entry/exit doors.

  13. Read and comprehends standard operations procedures, post orders, reports, and other printed materials.

Job Details

The Auto Mechanic 310T is responsible for the inspection repair and maintenance and diagnostic tests of the UPS vehicle fleet.

Job Type: Full-Time - Permanent

Work Location:12424 DIXIE ROAD, CALEDON, ON L7C 2L7

Workdays: Monday to Friday

Shift duration: 7:00pm - 3:30am

Hourly wage: Starting at $40.89

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Repair & inspect and maintain UPS diesel, propane, CNG and gasoline vehicles in a regular and timely manner.
  • Operate/test company vehicles within the UPS facilities & on public roads.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Red Seal (310T license).
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Able/willing to work evening and/or night shifts.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Possession of essential trade tools and equipment.
  • Possession of a clean driver’s abstract/record (must not be obtained more than a month ago before your interview date) showing:
  • No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
  • No accidents and maximum 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Must pass a pre-employment road test.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Weekly pay (every Friday).
  • Automatic pay progression as per the existing union Collective Agreement.
  • Paid vacation:
    • 2 weeks after 1 year of service
    • 3 weeks after 5 years of service
    • 4 weeks after 10 years of service
    • 5 weeks after 20 years of service
    • 6 weeks after 25 years of service
