Qualifications
- Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade.
- Completion of a certificate program from an approved business school/college would be considered an asset.
- A minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible and diversified office experience, including a minimum of two (2) years experience in the supervision of a moderate to large clerical support unit.
- A minimum two (2) years progressively responsible experience with CPIC system and CPIC compliance protocols is an asset.
- A minimum two (2) years experience with the administration of criminal justice/court records and use of police information systems, including provincial or municipal police information systems.
- Proven leadership ability, able to make sound decisions, use good judgment and identify priorities in a high-pressured environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and teamwork skills.
- Experience in using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).

- Assist Coordinator with parts and inventory management
Health and Safety:
- Adhere to Health and Safety Management System, be familiar with and follow all applicable safe work practices, safe operating procedures, and safety specifications detailed in equipment manuals and manufacturer’s specifications
- Ensure that those persons assisting in the shop are also following applicable safe work standards
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or incidents and near misses to the Logistics Coordinator in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working on Heavy Equipment
- Familiar with cat/John Deere/Komatsu/Volvo is considered an asset
- Possession of valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
- Small crane training
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge in inventory management
- Self-motivator willing to work overtime if needed
Physical Requirements:
This position requires standing for extended periods, in addition to walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling with occasional sitting. Must be capable of heavy lifting and moving parts up to 75 lbs on a consistent basis.
Working Environment:
This job will require some overtime hours. Some work is completed in our facilities in Leduc and Edmonton however travel will be required to complete roadside repairs in all weather conditions. The noise level in the environment can be excessive and shop staff can be exposed to high temperatures, fumes, and toxic chemicals. Travel to NWT/Yukon will be required from time to time
