About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible to:

  • wash the exteriro of vehicles using soap, water, cloth and brushes; dry vehicle to remove streaks and spots
  • apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials
  • vacuum and clean the interior of vehicles
  • shampoo vehicle interior carpeting and upholstery
  • clean debris and dirt from the interior of the vehicle, door frames, and instrument panels
  • clean dirt and grease from the exterior of the vehicle, including mirrors and glass

About you…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in vehicle detailing, including:

  • 1 to 3 years of previous automotive vehicle detailing experience

6. In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives acts to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts. 
7. Prepares, files and submits various reports as required. 
8. Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities. 9. Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service. 
10. As assigned, in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with provincial and federal laws, carries out lead or supervisory duties that can include some or all of the following: interviewing, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and, making hiring and termination recommendations. 

 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY 
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position. 

 
MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS 
• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone). 
• Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private). 
• Must have the legal right to work in the Canada. 
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English and French in the province of Quebec.

Reporting to Supervisor, Taxation Services, the Tax Accounting Analyst is responsible for ensuring transactions in the property tax system for the City are in compliance with legislation, policies and PSAB standards while ensuring efficient customer focused service delivery.

Requirements:

Facilities may include entertainment facilities, libraries, seniors’ centres, conventional stadiums, fields, playgrounds, skateboard parks, cemeteries, and any other associated facilities that fall under the Branch.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general care taking duties in the overall facility such as cleaning floors; wet mopping; operating power cleaning equipment; cleaning glass; collecting and disposing of garbage both inside and outside the facility; moving furniture, setting up and taking down equipment; and cleaning and clearing the building entrance way and emergency exits of snow and ice as required
  • Perform general maintenance duties in the overall facility such as painting, replacing light bulbs, and making minor carpentry and plumbing repairs
  • Take initiative to correct maintenance or risk management concerns and/or notify supervisor and other staff where appropriate

  • Two (2) years of experience relating to building maintenance and caretaking functions plus technical skills and knowledge usually associated with the completion of three of four of the following Building Environmental Systems courses at a Community College: 7010 (Heating), 7020 (Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), 7030 (Air Handling & Preventative Maintenance), 7040 (Electrical), providing a basic working knowledge and understanding of general maintenance, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; demonstrated mechanical aptitude and six (6) months of previous experience in general building operations and maintenance
