Responsibilities
As an Arrow apprentice mechanic, you will perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of tractors, trailers and mobile equipment. We have 2 Bays and a Pit in a very well maintained shop environment. It's a small shop with a great work environment!
- Provide routine maintenance on tractors, trailers and mobile equipment such as forklifts and loaders
- Check all equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Perform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop and road calls when required
- Diagnose any faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair that is required.
- Perform incidental welding repairs on equipment.

Responsibilities
The Lead Commercial Truck Technician is required to perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of tractors, trailers and mobile equipment. Responsibilities
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating loaders, excavators, and other heavy machinery to manage the handling and flow of bulk mineral concentrates—primarily copper, gold, and ore—within the terminal. This includes pushing product into designated storage areas, maintaining pit and tipper areas, supporting efficient vessel loading operations by pushing product from the warehouse floor into a designated loading pit (or hopper), which feeds a conveyer belt system used to load ocean-going vessels docked at the port. Major Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (e.g., loaders, excavators) to move, level, and stockpile copper/gold concentrate and ore within the warehouse and yard.
- Push product into designated storage areas in the warehouses.
- Push product into the loading pit/hopper, which feeds the ship-loading conveyer belt system, ensuring consistent material flow during vessel loading.
- Maintain clean and safe conditions around the pit, tipper, and warehouse, removing any excess or spilled material that could interfere with operations.
- Monitor material flow into the chute/conveyer belt during vessel loading and communicate with the Port Foreman to coordinate timing and volumes.
- Communicate clearly with truck drivers and other team members to coordinate safe and efficient product movement.
- Perform snow removal as needed to maintain safe access throughout the terminal.

You Possess
- Valid Heavy Equipment Operator Certificate is an asset
