The Opportunity

Responsibilities
The general labour department works in the chick room and egg room with general duties such as grading and preparing the delivery although they also support in other departments based on business needs which could include:

  • Sanitation: Ensuring our hatchery equipment is fully sanitized with the use of power hoses and our box wash machine.
  • Separator Operator: Working with our separator team to separate chicks from debris when hatching
  • Machine Operator: Working with our Embrex Machine to vaccinate the chick while it is still in the egg
  • Driver Helper: Supporting our drivers with delivering our product to various farm locations across Ontario

Job Requirements

  • Must be capable of lifting 40lbs. Repetitively (overhead lifting required)
