This position performs basic administrative responsibilities including preparation and analysis of reports, compilation of information from various sources, and analysis using various software packages. Employee may direct the work of others and provide instruction and guidance to lesser experienced employees. This position performs general warehouse duties including word processing, data entry, auditing/rewrapping damaged packages, answering phones, and other duties as assigned.

Location and hours:

Located at 8825 Campeau Drive, Stittsville, ON

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: Starts between 4:30 AM to 5:30 AM (Approx), ends between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Guaranteed at least 5-hour shifts based on delivery volume.

Responsibilities:

-Executes a comprehensive examination of various documents including commercial invoices, international bills of lading, and shipping documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.

-Researches and corrects errors resulting from incorrect pre-advise information.

-Compiles and saves shipping documents (paper or electronic) to comply with government regulations.

-Physically handling/moving and re-wrapping packages. (Lifting up to 70 lbs unassisted)

-Performs analysis using various software packages and databases

-Provides advanced office support knowledge and skills.

-Prepares and/or coordinates information for internal and external contacts

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Job Responsibilities:

• Required to support members of the Maintenance or Toolroom team on a host of projects throughout the facility.
• Demonstrate competency in approaching matters of preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, mechanical systems and coordination of work and required resources.
• Must fulfil all areas delineated by the competency guide book provided by the Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities.
• Attend day release schooling over a span of several years in order to achieve all academic requirements to write certification exam within allotted timeframe.

Position Overview:

Wages: $22.50/hr 

Location: Greater Toronto Area

Shift: Monday to Friday (1100hrs to 1900hrs)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Stand down at sites when required to ensure proper coverage of the site.
• Contact guards to cover shifts and schedule staff when needed in conjunction with the Scheduler and After-Hours support team.
• Perform routine foot patrols both exterior and interior.
• Drive company vehicle to various client sites within the Greater Toronto area.
• Provide direct support to security guards when faced with an emergency, trespasser or breach.
• Maintain company vehicle and reporting any irregularities to management. 
• Complete daily reports during and after shift.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• G Class Drivers Licence 
• 2 years of mobile, site or field security supervisor experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing security guard schedules, including shift planning and coverage adjustments
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Comfortable travelling long distances.
