Reporting to the Buildings and Infrastructure Supervisor, you will be:

  • Repairing building plumbing and sewage systems and installing replacements of an equal or better type, style, quality, grade, or class to obtain specific operating characteristics or to match other items already in place.
  • Accurately recording all work orders for the plumbing and ablution facilities, as well as records of normal and abnormal operating conditions and malfunctions, along with corrective actions taken.
  • Test-running the fire booster pumps in accordance with National Fire Protection Association standards and reporting all failures, logging all tests in the logbook accurately and completely on the same working day the tests are conducted.

What You Will Bring:

  • Red Seal Plumber with 5+ years of experience in a commercial or industrial setting.

Requirements:

  • Must be eligible for ENHANCED RELIABILITY security clearance and must pass a company pre-employment medical.
  • As overnighting in Thule, Greenland, is a requirement en route to CFS Alert, you must possess a valid passport.
  • Ability to work cross-culturally and be a strong team player is a must; you will need to roll up your sleeves and pitch in as and when required.

Merchandiser must ensure no product is left on the shelf with less than 2 days on the bread tag. Merchandiser is to service all off shelf displays in the store that support CB products.
  • merchandiser is to go to the receiving area of the store to locate our back stock of product and bring the appropriate amount of stock to the mainline counter.
  • service the mainline counter by rotating product to ensure newer product is behind older product, first in first out principal.
  • stock shelves to ensure product is placed in the correct location by following shelf tags / product description / planogram.
  • bring empty bread trays back to the receiving room and place them in the CB designated area ensuring the bread trays are placed in a criss cross pattern one on top of the other no more than 24 trays in a pile.
  • review conditions with the duty manager prior to leaving the account and address any further customer concerns at that time.
  • sign out of the account at the customer service counter and return the vendor badge.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • G driver license is required to operate most vehicles.
  • Post-Secondary education in sales, operations, and management or business studies.
  • Self-motivated, with good communication and strong customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of sales, merchandising, inventory control management.
  • Ability to successfully use MS Excel and other computer software necessary for Bimbo Canada sales.

  • Ensure the correct positioning of products in the distribution center according to their allocation and their volumes;
  • Respond to customer requests during product requisitions;
  • Support the receipt and shipping of the product in order to comply with customer requests;
  • Ensure that the trailers requested are those that have been planned for and that the quantity meets the demand for the planned shipment;
  • Enter data electronically to help the team plan their day;
  • Treat discrepancies;
  • Prepare all the documentation necessary to assist the gatehouse when shipping trailers and ensure the information is compliant;
  • Provide information related to shipping and reception to the various parties;
  • Produce, print and transmit the required reports;
  • Perform any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management.

 

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalence;
  • Office automation skills;
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a warehouse / distribution center at FedEx Supply Chain or elsewhere;
  • Bilingualism;
