PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of all systems associated with CPKC's Work Equipment group, including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic machinery/equipment.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Make Inspections and tests. Repair or replace parts with limited resources in remote locations outdoors
• Perform welding repairs
• Investigate and locate equipment problems and take corrective action minimizing the impact on crew production
• Plan work and co-ordinate it with others

How you will make contributions that matter:

Facilitate the timely and efficient processing and packaging of products.

Carries out preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

Trouble shoots and repairs equipment in breakdown situations to ensure production efficiencies are achieved.

Certified Journeyman

A high level of self-motivation and initiative
