As an Excel expert, you will partner closely with Operations and FP&A to deliver accurate forecasts and budgets, while leading day-to-day and ad-hoc business reporting and analysis for the Evo car sharing product. You’ll interpret complex business questions, extract and analyze data, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations and business cases that influence decision making across the Evo business.

You’ll leverage your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and strategic planning to uncover insights, monitor performance, and support expansion opportunities. Your work will directly support Evo’s operations, growth strategies, and executive-level decision-making.

Who you are:

  • You come from a fast-paced environment —such as consulting, accounting, finance, or a startup—and thrive on driving change and continuous improvement.

  • You are a critical thinker with strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

  • You can work quickly and expertly in Excel and thrive in data-heavy environments and have hands-on experience with tools like Power BI and SQL

  • You can transform complex data into strategic business insights that support financial forecasting, operational efficiency, and organizational decision-making

  • You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting data-driven findings to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

  • You are a strong writer and can translate data driven recommendations into written business cases and recommendations.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead complex, non-routine analysis and evaluate operational inputs to help develop operational models that support strategic decision-making

  • Support and execute the operational forecasting process, preparing monthly forecasts and budgets, and updating the P&L files in partnership with FP&A

  • Maintain, and continuously improve forecasting, tracking, and scenario models for all areas of Evo Car Share (operations, marketing/sales, consumer success, etc.)

  • Design and maintain management reporting tools and dashboards (primarily in Excel and Power BI) aligned to business strategy and KPIs

  • Extract, explore, and analyze data using SQL and other tools, working with both internal databases and external vendor data

  • Identify data gaps, quality issues, and limitations that may impact analysis, and proactively recommend improvements to data processes and controls

  • Develop test scenarios, hypotheses, and models to evaluate growth strategies, expansion opportunities, and proposed courses of action

  • Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations that teams can implement immediately

  • Visualize and communicate complex data through compelling presentation decks, business cases, reports and strategic storytelling tailored to non-technical audiences

  • Collaborate closely with teams across Evo, including Marketing, FP&A, Accounting, Information Systems, and external partners

  • Research industry, government, and market data to inform analysis, competitive insights, and strategic direction

  • Become a subject-matter expert in the car share and mobility space, identifying performance challenges, opportunities, and future growth areas

  • Proactively recommend new tools, processes, and reporting enhancements to improve the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of insights

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline with a focus on quantitative methods.

  • 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Reporting, Analytics, Strategy, or Operations.

  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and report building.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, with the ability to build and edit dashboards.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including queries and pivot tables.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities for presenting complex data clearly.

  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
