The opportunity
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about providing amazing customer service while prioritizing safety and creating a positive environment.
Reporting to the Chief Steward, Customer Service Attendants are responsible for:
- Taking food and beverage orders from passengers and relaying orders to the galley; portioning and serving items from the steam table; responding to special menu or serving request; assisting passengers with trays.
- Selling and serving alcoholic beverages.
- Assisting with the presentation of hot and cold menu items.
- Clearing and cleaning table and chairs in passenger areas; carrying dishes and trays to bus stations; scraping off food remains; separating wet compost; assisting in sorting cutlery and dishes.
- Performing housekeeping and major cleaning routines including sweeping, cleaning, scrubbing, washing, vacuuming floors, cleaning bulkheads, deckheads, elevators, furniture, windows, galley, galley appliances, steam tables, beverage machines, lines and taps, and cleaning coolers; picking up papers and garbage and emptying garbage containers; operating garbage compactors; sorts recyclables for removal; mixing cleaning solutions.
- Cleaning washrooms, wiping down counters, sinks, mirrors, disinfecting toilets and urinals, replacing hand towels and toilet paper.
- Performing additional duties including preparing food service facilities for opening; readying the facilities for on-coming watches and closing facilities; checking stores for sufficient supplies and unloading; lifting, carrying, replenishing, and rotating stores; reporting equipment failures; assisting in vessel refit storing and de-storing.
- Providing information to passengers about ferry schedules.
- Performing marine emergency duties in drills and emergency situations including but not limited to passenger management, operating evacuation systems, handling fire hoses, and lookout duties.
What you bring to the team
You possess strong customer service skills, with the ability to work in a high-volume customer focused environment in a physically demanding job and are an excellent communicator with a high level of self-motivation and initiative. In addition, you are an innovative team player who works well under pressure with the ability to be flexible and adapt to a change in task when necessary.
You have one (1) year of customer service experience, preferably in a food service environment. A valid Seafarer’s Medical, Food Safe Level 1 and Serving it Right Certificates are required and can be obtained upon receiving an offer of employment.
Preference may be shown to applicants who hold an Occupational First Aid Level 3 and/or Professional Cook Level 1.

As a Project Coordinator, you lead low complexity vessel projects from start to finish—planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. These projects may include vessel refits, dry-dockings, capital upgrades, conversions, or repairs. You work under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager and support more complex vessel projects by assisting Project Managers ensuring the Project Team delivers the defined project scope and deliverables within budget, on schedule, at the required level of quality, and within the acceptable level of health, safety, security and environmental risk. Typical project assignments may include refit, dry-docking, capital modifications, conversions, emergent repairs or improvements to vessels.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is early in their project management career and wants to grow within a structured, high-impact organization while being involved in meaningful, hands-on project work.
The role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Fleet Project Management Office, you add value and are energized by key areas of oversight such as:
- Acting as a single point authority in relation to internal and external stakeholders, with respect to the projects assigned;
- Developing and executing project plans according to established FPMO methodology;
- Liaising and executing contract management processes related to assigned projects;
- Liaising and executing project change management and provide impact analysis to Project Owners;
- Ensuring proper closing of projects, including the capturing and dissemination of lessons learned;
- Assisting Project Owners and Project Managers in developing preliminary and detailed Business Cases;
- Providing project reports and updates to both internal and external stakeholders in the approved format and frequency;
- Creating and maintaining collaborative working relationships with all key project stakeholders, both internal and external;
- Administering and following applicable BCFS Fleet Regulations, Health, Safety, Security, Environmental policies and all applicable Regulatory and legal provisions;
- Ensuring value, engineering analysis, feasibility and safety/security/environmental studies are conducted when required;
- Working with the Project Team and Owners to develop project plans, including but not limited to: project requirement gathering, specifications, WBS, budget preparation, cash flow forecast, vessel and project schedule, risk plan, resource allocation plan, procurement plan, quality plan and communication plans;
- Organizing and chairing meetings with Project Owners, managers, designers, estimators, contractors, personnel, as well as administering facilities and assets;

This position will support the refit and capital project requirements for our fleet of vessels and will be performing the following: services, repairs and refits of vessel engines, systems, and equipment including engine components, compressors, and pumps, relief and safety valves, cylinder heads, cooler cores, clutches and engine blocks; measures and inspects bearings, cylinders, pistons, and turbochargers; repairs and tests of fuel injection systems, including pumps and injectors; operates large and small mobile cranes, forklifts and winches. Provides a ‘lead hand’ role for new employees and helpers; and performs additional duties as required.
You have a thorough understanding of Work Safe BC regulations and safe working practices and working knowledge of relevant materials, tools and equipment. You hold a relevant BC or Interprovincial Trade Qualification in one or more of the following trades: Heavy Duty Mechanic, or Millwright.

We are currently hiring a Temporary Full-Time Member Service Agent (Remote) to join our Evo Car Share team!
This role is scheduled for the overnight shift, Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The contract is anticipated to run until June 30, 2026.

What you bring:

At least six months of a post-secondary certificate in Business Administration or related field, and/or a combination of education and experience.

At least two years’ experience in customer service, preferably in a call center setting.

Showcase your sharp technical skills with willingness to learn new platforms (i.e. PowerBI, Verint, Service Now, Amazon Connect & Workplace, Google Maps, and EVO Car Sharing Software).

Bonus skills: Rapid-fire typing skills (40 wpm).
Other Requirements:

Team members will work remotely as part of a virtual 24/7 call centre and participate in a shift bid process.

The shift bid process is seniority based (Length of Service / Hire Date), and shift work.

Team Members will select two six-month schedules (Jan – June & July – Dec)

Given the shift bid process is based on seniority, is seniority based, and most shifts have been selected, new external employees will be assigned shifts that support individual gaps in scheduling.

We offer shift differentials after 6pm and on Sundays.

We may require availability on statutory holidays, weekdays, and weekends, and as a result, we create the schedule one month in advance. This gives team members the flexibility to work around personal obligations and support their work-life balance.

Must successfully pass a background check, which may include a criminal, identification, and reference checks.

The hourly rate range for this position is $23.98to $29.98and is determined viajob-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 9%.
