Requirements:

- Demonstrated customer service experience along with effective conflict resolution and communication skills to deal effectively and courteously with the public and staff
- An ability to respond to inquiries by telephone, in person and in writing
- Established computer skills and experience in related software applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships

UPS is currently looking for Part-time Warehouse Worker at our Kanata location. This is an evening position.

Scheduled Shift: 5:00/5:30PM – 10PM (approximately).Shift averages 3-5 hours a day, but hours, start times/finish times may vary with operational need.

Must be able to work up to 25 hours per week
*Local Sorters will be required to work five days a week with slight changes in shift hours. Shift hours may vary due to the changes in package volume.
Local Sorters are responsible for the loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning of packages in the center. Car wash at end of shift for a quarter or half of the vehicle fleet. The equipment is wash brushes and fire hoses.

Ability to lift up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unassisted

Able to work with automated conveyor belts and manual rollers

Comfortable working inside container trailers, delivery trucks or similar equipment

Good organizational and multi-tasking skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding and temperature changing warehouse environment

Must be able to work with and recognize postal codes, routing charts and maps

No experience necessary.
