Learning contracts, prior learning assessment and PLAR recognition initiatives, withdrawals and course add/drop requests;

  • Attends to processes related to student enrolment management systems and procedures by locating directives and following processes and timelines as required;

  • Attends to processes related to Comms course outline submission deadlines and produces Comms outline completion reports for review by the Chair;

  • Acts as the departmental hub in the dissemination of accurate and timely information.

 

3. Organizes and attends to details relating to all department meetings:

  • Communicates broadly within the department and arranges meetings for:

    • Program Advisory Committees (PAC)

    • High Risk meetings

    • Faculty/Staff meetings

    • Evaluation & Promotion / Final Grades

    • Program Quality Review

    • Student meetings

    • Outside Stakeholders

    • Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN)

  • This work includes booking rooms, preparing related materials, ordering and arranging for meeting refreshments as required;

  • Maintains committee member lists;

4. Coordinates administrative deadlines

Job Details

UPS Package Drivers deliver and pick up packages from residential and/or commercial properties. This role involves driving, continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages in a physical, fast-paced environment. Drivers practice safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations, ensuring the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Job Type:Full -Time Permanent (as required).

Work Location:566 Riverview Drive, Chatham ON.

Workdays:Monday to Friday (as required).

Shift Start:9:30 AM (Flexibility with start & finish times is required based on operational needs) * average 8-10 hours.

Hourly Wage:$17.30/hourly (guaranteed wage progression through Union Collective Agreement to $35.89).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively
  • Learn and properly execute UPS safe and defensive driving methods       Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required
  • Record, track, and maintain information about delivered packages
  • Comply with UPS appearance guidelines by wearing the company provided vest and uniform

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Proficiency in navigating and finding locations using maps, GPS devices, and map books
  • Possession of a valid Ontario G driver’s license
  • Clean Driver's Abstract confirming:  a) No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months) b) No accidents and maximum 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • Guaranteed wage progression through Union Collective Agreement to $35.89 per hour after 48 months of service

EXPENSES/WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Wear a company-provided uniform and adhere to the company’s Appearance Guidelines
