  • Host-to-host including basic SFTP upload / download capabilities, basic file management capabilities, hybrid integration and flexible reporting formats

  • Sets a clear and ambitious product vision and communicate it effectively to stakeholders, the team and the rest of the journey
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that the digital vision and products are aligned with the strategy and requirements of the team
  • Responsible for product-specific OKRs once the solution enters production, including regular communication and tracking of OKRs to stakeholders
  • Use market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for your team, maintaining a backlog of 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team
  • Work closely with the digital leader to establish the business value of each product

  • Stay abreast of modern technologies and best practices, and recommend introduction of new technology and processes 

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert and manage admin functions for ETL and Talend

  • Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes; utilize internal defect tracking tool to create detailed, high quality error report

  • Work with product owners and test engineers to support QA processes, review test plans, test coverage and help improve test automation


 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

 

  • Minimum 10+  years of experience in enterprise systems

  • Minimum 5+ years hands-on Talend development experience

  • Knowledge of cloud integration with ETL.

  • Knowledge of deployment processes and release pipelines. Eg : Jenkins, Bitbucket/Git

  • Unix/AIX script experience

  • ETL tool experience with Talend

  • Data modeling and mapping

  • Performance tuning and optimization

  • SQL and database programming (Preferably DB2)
