Your Skills & Experience:
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation or working towards PCP or Canadian Human Resources Professional (CPHR) Designation is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources function, various roles within transportation would be beneficial
- 3-5 years within the relevant area with 2-5 years in a leadership role
- Previous experience with Continuous Improvement initiatives will be considered an asset
- Minimum of post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business (general stream), or a combination of education and experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mobile Patrols: Conduct routine mobile patrols of assigned locations which may include operating a vehicle to perform patrol, inspection, and/or incident response services.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations and incidents, taking appropriate action to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
- Surveillance: Monitor and report suspicious activities, hazards, or security concerns to the appropriate authorities.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and employees, always providing excellent customer service.
- Report Writing: Complete accurate and detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during patrols.
- Access Control: Enforce access control measures, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed entry to designated areas.
- Adherence to Procedures: Strictly adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a secure environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a Valid Security Guard License.
- Must have a valid G Driver's License with a clean driving record (min 5 years).
- Postsecondary education in Police Foundations, Criminology or equivalent, is an asset.
- Must be available to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in using security equipment and technology.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

- Act as first line response for telephone calls, emails or walk ins from client staff, visitors and contractors.
- Handle inquiries and provide resolutions via escalations to the client.
- Performs active monitoring of various security systems, including CCTV, intercom, and access control.
- Performs accurate data entries and reports in a timely manner for escalation.
- Access control with voice communication to various facilities across the country.
- Remotely troubleshoot for alarms or access control issues.
- Conduct virtual (monitoring) and physical security patrols of assigned facilities.
- Completing daily briefing, as well as, writing and being able to understand incident reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be Bilingual (English and French).
- Must be available to work a rotating schedule including evenings, nights, and weekends (24/7 Operations).
- Have a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Have access to a vehicle (public transit not available).
- Great customer service skills (phone, email and in person).
- Good computer knowledge and use of computer systems.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Previous experience in a Security Control Room would be an asset.
