  • Identify and report identified hazards and fulfill all Health & Safety, WHMIS, MSDS, and GMP policy requirements.

Qualifications

  • Ontario Industrial Electrician license
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrician is required
  • Ability to read, interpret and update Electrical and Mechanical drawings / schematics is required
  • Experience in the following areas: Equipment Repairs, Equipment Improvements, Equipment Upgrades, New Equipment Installations, Preventive Maintenance, Knowledge and experience with installing, troubleshooting and repairing Programming Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi) Competency in troubleshooting HMI’s, Variable frequency drives, Motion control, Laser date coders, Ink jet printers, Case packers, Palletizers, High Speed Packaging system
  • Liquid fill or food manufacturing experience is a strong asset
  • Must have demonstrated command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Must have the ability to work rotating shifts (days, afternoon, nights) and overtime when required to support a continuous operation
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instruction
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to pay excellent attention to detail
  • Computer literate
