What you will do:

• As the first point of contact, you will be required to provide product information to customers quickly and professionally.
• Respond to customers in a timely manner in person, by phone or email.
• Prepare quotes for small, urgent work orders.
• Conduct necessary product research in catalogs and online.
• Verify that all items are available to the customer as per order and schedule.
• Take responsibility for establishing good relationships with customers and associates.
• Take the initiative to replenish the area near the counter as needed.
• Offer assistance in the warehouse if needed.

What you will bring:

• Prior technical experience in sales or customer service in the wholesale or distribution industry required
• Knowledge of the local market in the plumbing and HVAC/R products sector, an asset

We are looking for a motivated Delivery Assistant/Warehouse Attendant to join our distribution team in Val d'Or . In this role, you will work closely with a Delivery Driver to ensure the delivery of our products (beer and other beverages) to our commercial customers. You will be a key member of our team, contributing to delivery management, warehousing and order preparation. 

Responsibilities : 

• Ensure delivery of beer and beverages to merchants using specialized equipment, including a moffet. 

• Work with a delivery person  to make deliveries. 

• Unload crates and barrels of beer and beverages from the truck and place them according to established standards. 

• Rotate products to maintain freshness and ensure delivery compliance. 

• Use computer tools to invoice orders to customers. 

• Assist with order preparation in the warehouse as needed. 

• Operate a forklift or electric pallet jack to move and retrieve pallets of beer and beverages as part of order preparation. 

• Complete the loading of trucks intended for deliveries and unload the empty crates on the return journey.

Pursuant to a language needs assessment conducted by Scotiabank, the successful candidate will be required to be able to communicate in English and French because they will serve and English-speaking clientele.

As part of the Warehouse Dispatcher position, you will support the dispatch activities of the Longueuil distribution center. You will have to work closely with the warehouse and production teams. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling and executing beer operations and movements at the Longueuil warehouse. To this end, you will use the SAP warehouse management system (eWM/WMS/YMS) to route and control work instructions to be executed by warehouse employees associated with beer movements.

Working hours mainly at night (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.).

However, you may be required to work all three shifts (day, evening, night) depending on operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Issue priority delivery requirements in WMS according to planned production;
• Track the execution of deliveries or transfer orders in real time;
• Manage warehouse movements using eWM/WMS systems to plan inventory movements;
• Initiate and manage the contingency plan in the event of a possible shutdown of IT systems;
• Manage stock transfers in terms of receiving, transferring, order preparation and shipping.

Other qualifications:

• You hold a DEC in operations management or any other program or experience relevant to the position;
• You are available to work the night shift;
• You have good computer skills;
• Knowledge of SAP and WMS (an asset);
• You are able to work in French and English (written and spoken);
