How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Develop and grow the Saputo book of business through new business acquisition, new product listings, and execution of promotional activity
  • Drive new sales through our direct distribution network as well as our distributor partners
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge of the local market and community, attend industry events
  • Prepare and present business reviews to both customers and internal stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with Saputo Sales, Finance, Operations, and Distribution departments to maximize opportunities and address customer issues

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

  • A degree/diploma in Sales, Marketing or a related field is an asset
  • Two or more years of sales experience, preferably in the Food Service market
  • Experience in the Consumer Package Goods or Food Service industries
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Career-oriented with a desire to take on new challenges
  • Highly motivated and able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Track record of bringing projects to full completion, on schedule, with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license and use of a vehicle

Key Accountabilities:

  • Performs administrative duties, requiring considerable analysis
  • Exceptional confidentiality
  • Calendar management
  • Often has responsibility for creating complex/ detailed documents that require considerable knowledge of specialized processes & procedures
  • May have responsibility for preparation and processing of records, statistics & reports regarding operations and this may require knowledge/information or working with other areas of the business
  • Administers programs/processes specific to an operating unit and may serve as administrative liaison with organizations or customers outside the company
  • Makes independent decisions regarding planning, organizing & scheduling of own work
  • Exercises initiative and independent judgement in planning and executing work assignments as well as addressing unusual non-recurring situations both internal and external to the Company
  • Supervision not typically required and normal processes not subject to review
  • May train or guide the work of more junior support staff

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 + years in an Administrative or Executive Admin role working with various levels of Leadership
  • Certification in the Administrative or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of company policies and practices, often possesses detailed specific knowledge of a function or process
  • Ability to analyze data of moderate complexity requiring investigation, classification and compilation
  • Capable of handling several tasks concurrently in different environments
  • Exceptional organizational & communication skills
