As our Welder, you will provide support to the department and Superintendent.

Position Overview:

• Responsible for welding, ironwork, or mechanical related tasks.
• Accurately and effectively uses various types of welding and cutting equipment.
• Responsible for safe use of equipment including forklift, skid steer loader, scissor lifts, and power tools.
• Reads and understands construction drawings, including providing accurate layout of the work and building to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications Needed:

• Appropriate level of experience in welding or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

• Must be able to work a 21/7 work rotation with extended time away from home.

• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.

• Hourly patrols of complex/parking garage. Advise all vagrants to vacate property and call local police when vagrants refuse to leave. Write reports for all incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• 6 months+ security experience.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Lead Generation & Management

• Identify, engage, and qualify potential customers through outbound calls, emails and digital channels.
• Respond to and manage all inbound leads from various sources, including website forms, phone inquiries, email campaigns, and referrals.
