Responsibilities
- Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck).
- Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective product.
- Repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance
- Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head
- Manage backroom by organizing stock (product); identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged product; re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (i.e., pallets, product shells etc.); completing any required paperwork
- Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.
- Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
- Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Qualifications
- Must be 17 years of age
- Minimum one (1) year experience working in grocery, retail, warehousing or related field preferred
- Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience working under little to no supervision preferred
- Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours
- Must have current vehicle liability insurance
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with no major violations over the last three (3) years

What you will do:
- Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
- Deliver orders to customers’ facilities, construction sites other branches or warehouses using the most effective itinerary or assigned itinerary.
- Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy
- Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner
- Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment
- Liaise with freight companies and inside/outside customers to determine shipping priorities
- Responsible for transporting material to and from customer sites and other local locations.
- Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to the assigned route.
- Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule.
- Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
- Unload products according to the destination’s applicable rules.
- Responsible for obtaining a signature of acknowledgment of delivery.
- Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.
What you will bring:
- Previous warehouse experience required
- General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
- Valid G license required.
- Clean driver’s abstract is required. (No traffic tickets, no points, and no “at-fault” accidents within the last 3 years)
- Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
- Forklift certified or ability to be certified • WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset
- Knowledge of industry (Plumbing and or HVAC) products is an asset

The main function of the administrative clerk (operations support) will be to monitor and control all operations of the distribution center from the arrival and departure of the trailers, enter data, prepare documents to coordinate operations, generate and maintain reports, provide oral and written information of any discrepancies.
- Monitor and control the activities of the distribution center;
- Enter data electronically to monitor and control operations activities;
- Provide information electronically and verbally to the client, and to other departments;
- Ensure the correct positioning of products in the distribution center according to their allocation and their volumes;
- Respond to customer requests during product requisitions;
- Support the receipt and shipping of the product in order to comply with customer requests;
- Ensure that the trailers requested are those that have been planned for and that the quantity meets the demand for the planned shipment;
- Enter data electronically to help the team plan their day;
- Treat discrepancies;
- Prepare all the documentation necessary to assist the gatehouse when shipping trailers and ensure the information is compliant;
- Provide information related to shipping and reception to the various parties;
- Produce, print and transmit the required reports;
- Perform any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalence;
- Office automation skills;
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a warehouse / distribution center at FedEx Supply Chain or elsewhere;
- Bilingualism;
- Ability to solve problems;
- Sense of initiative, analysis and organization;
- Customer service oriented;
- Autonomy, versatility and flexibility;
- Good computer skills, Excel proficiency (advanced), and ability to learn how different software work;
