Coke Canada Bottling Merchandisers work in local grocery stores helping our clients keep Coke Canada Bottling products fully stocked and available to consumers – keeping beverage sections, end caps, racks and displays filled. Merchandisers are our frontline ambassadors, providing superior service to clients and consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck).
  • Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective product.
  • Repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance
  • Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head
  • Manage backroom by organizing stock (product); identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged product; re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (i.e., pallets, product shells etc.); completing any required paperwork
  • Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
  • Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
  • Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Qualifications

  • Must be 17 years of age
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working in grocery, retail, warehousing or related field preferred
  • Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working under little to no supervision preferred
  • Must have access to a personal vehicle for use during working hours
  • Must have current vehicle liability insurance
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with no major violations over the last three (3) years

Job Summary: As a Cleaner of the BGIS SCS Team, you will be generally responsible for cleaning in a designated zone with an emphasis on quality control, health and safety & striving to exceed client expectations. 

Key Responsibilities: Functioning as a core member of the operational team and reporting to the Manager/ Supervisor the Cleaner will:

  • Clean floors by sweeping, mopping or vacuuming
  • Sweeping of exterior perimeter of the building
  • Empty waste receptacle
  • Transport garbage from drop points to garbage bins or compactor 
  • Cleans and stores equipment and machinery used
  • Replenishes cleaning solutions
  • Follow procedures for dilution of detergents
  • Low and high dusting, wiping surfaces, glass cleaning and cleaning bathrooms as required
  • Notify supervisors concerning the need for major repairs 
  • Other duties that management may assign depending on facility needs (cleaning appliances, run dishwashers etc.)

 Job Requirements:

  • Experience in performing various cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance activities in an institutionalized environment.
  • Experience in using floor maintenance machines, cleaning equipment, materials and solutions.
  •  Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the provisions that apply to this work including WHMIS.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, clients and the general public.
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays and shifts as assigned as well as work in multiple locations.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, prepare and maintain manual and electronic records.

  • We don’t need mathematical geniuses here, though ability to add and subtract would be useful. Mostly we just need people who are comfortable helping customers with simple financial help and promoting our products and services.
  • Experience helping members in either a bank or credit union for a minimum three years, preferably where you mastered lending and investments, and you used your x-ray vision to spot sales and referral opportunities.
  • You are excited to share with the world what you learned during your post-secondary education in finance, business administration or a related field. And you aren’t done learning; you have a desire to know more.
  • You really like building relationships with a wide variety of people and want to help them with simple financial help.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preplan and schedule project activities on a daily to weekly basis as required
  • Implement the project Quality Management System by acting as lead quality coordinator
  • Create a safe site and working environment by promoting safe working methods

  • Integrate with Kheops
  • Perform Monthly Safety Audits for the project
  • Ensure that safety procedures in accordance with the company’s OH&S manual, Worker’s Compensation Act, Employment Standard Act, and WorkSafeBC Regulations are being followed

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Qualifications

  • Broad understanding of road construction and related activities
  • Broad understanding of the QMP and the testing requirements for roadway
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (eg. memos, reports, discussions)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • OFA Level 1 or Higher
  • Fall Protection and Rescue
  • QA, QC training, proper tracking of Quantities

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable of Specifications and requirements in roadway construction (DBSS, MMCD, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a Related Field

Responsibilities

Our Kamloops Flat Deck division is currently hiring Company Drivers!  You don't have to live in Kamloops and can start work from most locations in B.C. i.e. Fraser Valley, Cariboo, Okanagan for instance.  As an Arrow driver, you will be hauling products that are directly related to building the economic growth in beautiful Western Canada.   • Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, load securement, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, and weights and dimensions.
  • Record, Maintain and Check all relevant paperwork (i.e. bill of lading,) and documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
  • Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
  • Complete electronic logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status.
  • Ensure that all customers, co-workers and the public are dealt with professionally and with respect.
