As a Full-Service Delivery Driver, your main responsibility will be within Vending, stocking vending machines, troubleshooting, delivering product, and collecting sales proceeds.

This role includes a good amount of daily physical labor while handling cases to deliver directly to stores and/or filling vending machines. You will be handling cases and using a manual wheeler for most of your day as you follow a route itinerary.

 

The Details:

This is a Full-time position that will start ASAP. Standard work week is 40 hours with the potential for overtime during our peak seasons. 

 

Wage: $31.40

Schedule: Monday-Thursday (4x10 Hrs), Night shift – Monday-Friday (5x8 Hrs)

Hours: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

  • Check accuracy and stability of the load.

  • Conduct vehicle inspections on equipment.

  • Merchandise, display and rotate product according to company standards.

  • Invoice and collect payments due.

  • Pick up company property.

  • Secure company assets

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

  • Settle all accounts daily.

  • Ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds.

  • Responsible for asset keys, monies, and secure entry cards.

  • Counting money end of day (Math skills required).

Qualifications

  • Class 1 driver license required.

  • 1-3 years of general merchandising experience preferred.

  • 1+ years of commercial Class 1 driving experience preferred.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack.

  • Local delivery experience preferred.

  • Availability to work Saturday and Sunday as required.

Duties:

  1. Types investigation and occurrence reports, from forms and dictaphone, into Saskatoon Information Management System (SIMS).  Notifies Sergeant of report errors and assigns report files to the appropriate sections, as required.
