Golf Courses
Job Duties: This position consists of maintenance at one of four City operated golf courses: Tor Hill, Murray, Joanne Goulet and Lakeview Par 3.

- Valid Pesticide Applicators License is an asset but not a requirement
Typical Rate of Pay:

Forestry
Job Duties: The City of Regina Forestry team is assigned to maintain the overall health of Regina’s Urban Forest which includes trees and shrubs in boulevards, residential street trees and trees in parks and other open space. This position consists of general tree maintenance. The typical duties in Forestry include tree pruning, tree removals, chipping and stumping. In most cases, shop and equipment maintenance tasks will also be assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Experience using chainsaws and pruning saws
- Aerial truck operations and brush chipper experience
- Valid 1A or 3A license and ISA Certification is considered an asset but not a requirement
Typical Rate of Pay:

Horticulture
Job Duties: This position involves a variety of general labour tasks, including planting and maintaining flower beds, as well as planting, watering, and maintaining trees and shrubs but could also include litter-picking, string trimming, irrigation system operation, painting, turf management, tree and shrub planting and maintenance, rototilling, weeding and cleaning maintenance shops.
Education & Experience:
- Experience planting flowers and knowledge of plant species is preferred
- Completion of some horticultural courses are an asset but not a requirement

Integrated Pest Management
Job Duties: This position consists of general labour maintenance involving insect, weed and animal control. There are several pest programs that include: mosquito control, tree spraying, gopher control and herbicide application.
Education & Experience:
- Experience with insects, weed, animal control is preferred.
- Valid Pesticide Applicators License is an asset but not a requirement.

Open Space Services Lab
Job Duties: The OSS Lab assists Forestry and Integrated Pest Management with insect and disease monitoring for urban forest and related human health. This includes monitoring for issues such as Dutch Elm Disease, Cankerworm monitoring and Mosquito populations.

Job Duties: Under the supervision of the Irrigation Worker II or III, this position performs a variety of preventative, emergency and restoration maintenance to various components, which make up the City of Regina’s irrigation systems located at parks, boulevards, medians, athletic fields, golf courses and cemeteries. Typical duties include extensive shoveling soil or other material, repairs or replacement to irrigation lines, valves, sprinkler and fitting, operate and maintain City vehicles, specialized equipment and tools related to irrigation, and assist in overhauling specialized irrigation components including pumping equipment, control equipment, meters and sprinklers.
Education & Experience:
- Experience or exposure to commercial irrigation equipment and experience using hand or power tools

The successful candidate for this position will be a member of the Development & Growth Transformation Project Office (Project Office) in WIM. The Project Office leads, coordinates, monitors and tracks initiatives aimed at enhancing Toronto Water's involvement with development approvals. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your primary responsibilities as an Engineer will vary, depending on assigned duties, but you will be expected to:
