The Network Process Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring adherence to the Linehaul and Truckload operations processes, identifying process improvements, prioritizing and contributing to the resolution of reoccurring issues while delivering on assigned objectives.

How You’ll Help

• Ensure TL Operations teams are adhering to processes, and escalate instances of non-compliance.
• Develop materials to facilitate training and process compliance for operations network management and users.
• Identify and implement process improvements, and work as a liaison for system improvements / enhancement.
• Investigate and resolve network trip / leg / flow data errors, report on and analyze COS data.
• Strong working knowledge of operations network activities and processes, including:
   
  • Identifying load requirements, optimizing and assigning loads / deliveries for greatest efficiency.
  • Monitoring scheduled runs.
  • Monitoring loads and trucks in a specific geography prioritizing and planning power to move loads to destination.
  • Communications with drivers and brokers to execute plans.
     
• Be an active part of the Linehaul & Engineering Teams and foster a positive environment of continous improvement.
• Provide daily / weekly updates to leadership team(s) on progress and initiatives.
• Other related duties as may be assigned.

Your Skills & Experience: 

• Post secondary education in logistics or business administration.
• An acceptable combination of education and training may be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a time sensitive, planning and organizing role, preferably in the transportation industry.
• Experience as a planner considered a key asset.
• Highly organized with exceptional ability to multitask.
• Sense of urgency and responsive to changes in a timely and efficient manner.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook; experience with Truckmate is an asset.

What you will do:

• Coordinating and processing outgoing product
• Preparing and loading material in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
• Preparing pertinent documentation for shipment of goods
• Liaising with freight companies and inside/outside customers to determine shipping priorities
• Receiving all incoming shipments and authorizing for correctness of the product received
• Distributing product to correct area in the Warehouse in a timely manner
• Ensuring good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in shipping area
• Picking orders as required

What you will do:

• Operate the telephone switchboard and receive all incoming calls; determine the nature of calls; answer, ask questions and/or transfer calls to the appropriate person or division
• Act as the first contact on site with visitors
• Direct visitors and/or notify relevant employees

Our Inside Sales position is a crucial member of our inside team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform access control provision duties, verify visitors coming on-site.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
• Perform foot patrols inside the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
• 2+ years of Security experience within a corporate environment
• Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Duties Include but are not Limited to)

• Reports to the shift security supervisor. 
• Responsible for enforcing access control for visitors on site. 
• Directing traffic to their appropriate drop-off/pick up areas.
• Entering incoming deliveries into global supply chain programs. 
• Assisting in emergency incidents by directing outside emergency services. 
• Perform fire watch duties as required. 
• Perform all other duties directed and assigned by Site Leadership team. 
• Secure international freight using high security seal process. 
• Inspect incoming trailers per local safety standard. 

Qualifications:

• Be able to read, write and speak in English and possess reading, writing and comprehension skills sufficient to compose written reports and interpret rules, regulations, policies and similar instructions. 
• Have work experience in security, policing or a related field. 
• Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certification. 
• Must be able to obtain a clear driver’s abstract. 
• Have working knowledge of various computer applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. 
• Have working knowledge of access control, CCTV and life safety systems.

As a member of the maintenance planning team, reporting to the senior planner, you will be committed towards helping McArther River reach reliability excellence. You will build relationships and work closely with maintenance supervisors and trades personnel, focusing on a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and digital transformation.

In this role, you will:

• Develop complete work order packages, manage material, labour availability and delivery.
• Develop repair plans, optimize maintenance plans to improve maintenance activities.
• Maximize equipment availability and maintenance worker efficiency.
• Contribute to asset reliability through various continual improvement efforts.
• Create and modify work plans to ensure preventive and predictive maintenance efficiencies.
• Be responsible for backlog management, reporting and follow up.
• Assist with bills of materials and equipment data, preparing reports and scheduling support.

Required:  

• Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson trade certificate as an Electrician or Instrumentation Technologist
• A minimum of five years maintenance scheduling and planning experience in a mine setting
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
• Strong computer and technical skills
• Effective verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills, working with various levels in the organization
• Experience with SAP
• Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Recommended:

• Previous maintenance planning, coordinating and/or scheduling experience
• Previous lead hand/supervisor experience
• Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certification, CMRP designation or equivalent
• Knowledge of asset management, reliability, and maintenance execution best practices
• Exposure to continuous improvement methodology, such as LEAN, and/or Six Sigma training
• Experience in an operating underground mining facility
