Responsibilities

  • Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck).
  • Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective product.
  • Repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance
  • Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head
  • Manage backroom by organizing stock (product); identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged product; re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (i.e., pallets, product shells etc.); completing any required paperwork
  • Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.    
  • Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
  • Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
  • Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Qualifications

  • Must be 17 years of age
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working in grocery, retail, warehousing or related field preferred
  • Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working under little to no supervision preferred
  • Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours
  • Must have current vehicle liability insurance
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with no major violations over the last three (3) years

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for providing support and expertise in environment, health and safety related matters to the Coca-Cola facility and operations. Qualifications

  • 2-3 years Environment, Health and Safety experience preferably in a unionized manufacturing/warehouse/distribution work environment.
  • Experience with ISO 14001/45001 certification process and audits.
  • Knowledge of Federal, Provincial and Local regulations on Workplace Health & Safety, Transportation and Worker Compensation.
  • Ability to influence others such as managers/supervisors/employees.
  • Proficient in MS excel, word, power point and other online based tools.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced work environment and remain organized.

Job Details

Air Canada is presently looking for a dynamic individual to fill a permanent full-time position as of a Facility Maintenance Mechanic at Montreal Dorval.

Description: 

  • Perform preventative maintenance & servicing to Building related mechanical equipment.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot faulty Hangar Doors, Overhead doors, fire doors, etc.
  • Ability to install, maintain, repair, dismantle, and reassemble machinery.
  • Ability to use welding equipment, hand, and power tools as necessary.
  • Perform minor repairs including replacement of gearboxes, sprockets, chains, door
    panels
  • Perform visual inspections of buildings to maintain Building Code standards.
  • Ability to do repair and maintenance on HVAC unit.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner and complies with applicable industry
    standards.
  • Performing other facility related duties as requested.
  • Team oriented individual with demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and self
    directed.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Able to work shifts, including weekends & participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

  • Must posses valid Driver’s licence with clean abstract
  • Must posses an Interprovincial Journeyman Millwright license or Red Seal
  • Must posses a Tag1 Gas license, Halocarbure Gas license and Refrigeration license CCQ. 
  • Minimum 3 years field experience.
  • Knowledge of building mechanics, Hangar door systems, control systems, BMS system (Trane/Siemens), Mechanical system operation, MIG welding, CMMS
  • Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be detailed oriented.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, e-mail and internet).
  • Employees in this role, conduct safety-critical work and as such, Air Canada medical standards must be met in order to qualify for the role. Candidates will be subject to a medical evaluation, including a drug and alcohol test and are expected to be free of any intoxicating substances.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest, at the time any offer of employment is made and seeking any required work permits/visas or other authorizations which may be required is the sole responsibility of the candidates applying for this position.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations depending on the work location. Please refer to TransportCanada site for more details.
  • 5th Class Power Engineer ticket required as part of the probation

The Wholesale Driver Class 1 Holiday Relief position is responsible for delivering to customer location with tractor trailer. Shuttling between Main & Creit Warehouse and shunting in the yard.

 

Schedule: Monday, & Tuesday: 05:00-15:30, Friday: 04:00-14:30  and Saturday:

03:00-13:30

Hourly rate: $ 35.76

 

How you will make contributions that matter:

  • On time deliveries to customers in the Edmonton area.

  • Customer deliveries and administering orders via handheld device.

  • Shuttle between the warehouses in a timely manner if required.

  • Safe and attentive care and operation of company vehicle following all current legislation.

  • Shunting in the yard if required.

  • Fuel vehicle, maintain vehicle log, report requirements for maintenance and repair, and maintain internal vehicle cleanliness.

  • Other duties as required.

 

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

  • Ability to establish successful business relationships with customers and colleagues.

  • Class 1 vehicle operator’s license (candidates must provide proof of license).

  • Minimum 2- years Class One Driving Experience.

  • Driving Abstract – in good standing

  • Membership in UNIFOR union of Canada, Local 445 (or must join within 30 days).

  • Ensure that all work is performed safely while following DOT,OH&S, WCB, and Company regulations and procedures.
