How you will make contributions that matter:

Warehouse Shipper (Part Time) – Brandon MB
Overview of the role :
This is a part time posting. The position is responsible for the picking, shipping and receiving in the Warehouse. Load co-ordination, report reproduction and report maintenance are also part of the regular duties. The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Schedule: Saturday & Sundays either Days or Evening shift. Occasionally Monday - Friday in the evenings. Schedules are planned 2 weeks in advance but are subject to change.
Salary: $19.49/hour
There are increases every 6 months until 18 months of employment
Night shift premium for hours worked 6pm – 6am $1.20/hour
How you will make contributions that matter:

Perform all activities pertaining to Shipping, Receiving

Accountable for daily sanitation and housekeeping in designated work area.

Picking orders in a cold environment -18 C to 5 C

Product rotation

Inventory counts (monthly)

Loading/unloading of trucks

Manual documentation

Ensure all legislated and company documentation related to the work area is accurately performed within the time requirements; ensure the product meets all specifications regarding GMP, Quality Programs.

Ensure to meet customer requirements “Pick sheet, loading pattern, code dates, freshness guidelines etc.

Previous related experience an asset (Dairy Industry, Warehouse etc.)

License to Operate Forklift / Pallet Moving Equipment (Saputo will train)

- Licensed Electrician or equivalent electrical engineering certificate
- Completion of an industrial electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Inform the Maintenance Manager about changes in electrical circuits and updates to the original diagrams
- Wire new control panels according to drawings and verbal instructions under consideration of Hydro codes and other applicable standards and regulations.
- Pass on information, experience and knowledge to other maintenance employee, to ensure effective, non-repetitious problem solving and machine repairs.
- Work in a cost-effective manner and maintains a high standard of quality and excellent workmanship.
- Conduct preventative maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
- Must have continuous improvements on machinery and equipment. Meet schedule set by maintenance Manager.
- Use different PLC programming devices including software to modify and read logic control programs. Perform other assignments from time to time as managements so directs.
