As a Merchandising Specialist in the Laval  and surrounding areas , you will be part of a world-class sales team. The Merchandiser will work in collaboration with the regional sales team and will report to the District Manager. Responsibilities:

  • Carry out merchandising activities in your territory according to the defined parameters as well as your visit schedule;
  • Ensure excellent merchandising activities and proper use of advertising materials in your territory;
  • Optimize the distribution and presentation of doors in store (rotation, new products, etc.);
  • Seize all opportunities for additional sales through new merchandising spaces at your customers' premises;
  • Develop and maintain privileged business relationships with your customers by ensuring that problems are resolved quickly and that their level of satisfaction is optimal;
  • Enter orders into systems and work closely with the Telesales department;
  • Stay abreast of competitor initiatives and initiate appropriate actions.

Other qualifications:

  • You have at least a DES. A DEC or Baccalaureate in a relevant field will be considered an asset;
  • You have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in merchandising or sales.
  • Experience in the food industry is a strong asset;
  • You know the main merchandising and sales techniques
  • You have a valid class 5 driving license and a car for your travel and the transport of promotional material;
  • You are bilingual (French and English), both orally and in writing;
  • You are dynamic, an excellent communicator, and able to demonstrate autonomy, initiative and creativity;
  • You are available for a work schedule from Monday to Friday

About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Supervisor, Equipment Services Operations, the Dispatcher, Customer Scheduling  is responsible for overseeing the completion of reactive equipment activities in SAP. The primary function of this role is to enable the Fields Service Technicians by dispatching their activities while providing additional support to the field as required.

As a point of contact for Field Service, Coca-Cola Limited, the Customer Sales Solutions Centre (CSSC), and the customer, timely and effective communication is critical. The position will be responsible for handling inbound customer calls, resolving escalations, and responding to investigation requests.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the dispatching of equipment service calls 
  • Monitor the Dispatch Grid and backlog to ensure productivity and efficiency 
  • Select outlets for service based on standard scheduling guidelines and include local considerations (Collective Bargaining Agreement.) in Technician workday 
  • Accurately process and schedule Customer Service Tickets within designated milestones.
  • Receive inbound emails and calls from the Technician or Field Service Supervisor
  • Perform parts transfers or market searches for technicians (evenings and weekends)
  • Act as a contact between CSSC and Field Service for escalations and investigation
  • Report on equipment and service activities for key stake holders and other functional areas

Main Purpose and Function

The Fitness Centre Worker is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Park Board fitness centres. This position assists and guides patrons in the use of exercise equipment, ensures the safety and control of the fitness area and patrons, provides fitness assessments, and develops

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing patrons on equipment and enforcing rules of conduct and fitness centre policies. The Fitness Centre Worker will also demonstrate exercises and the proper use of equipment to individuals and groups. The Fitness Centre Worker is also responsible for cleaning and maintaining the fitness centre and its equipment, making minor adjustments and repairs as needed. The Fitness Centre Worker will treat minor injuries and make necessary arrangements for the treatment of more serious accidents and provide accident reports to a superior as required. All applicants must also attach their First Aid and any other relevant certifications to their application.

 


Qualifications
Education and Experience:

  • Completion of Grade 10
  • Completion of a physical education course through a recognized educational institution is preferred.
  • Considerable experience in the use of Fitness Centre equipment and some experience interacting with the public is desirable.
  • Current Standard First Aid Certificate is required
  • Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate is required.
  • BC Recreation & Parks Association Registered Weight Training Instructor or equivalent required, Personal Trainer preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the methods used in proper exercise programs and the use of exercise equipment.
  • Knowledge of the theory of movement, body mechanics and the prevention and management of sports injuries.
  • Demonstrated ability to instruct individual and small group exercises.
  • Demonstrated ability to instruct a complete exercise package and to develop tailored weight training and fitness programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to meet and deal tactfully with the public and maintain control and exercise discipline with tact and consistency.
  • Ability to answer general and specific questions related to physical fitness and exercise.
  • Ability to orient patrons in the use of fitness centre facilities and equipment.
  • Ability to assume responsibility for the overall operation and security of the fitness centre in the absence of full time staff.

In this key client facing and customer service role, you are responsible for providing information and customer services for a wide range of City services, programs, policies, procedures, permits and fee structures, as part of a team of agents, delivered through a Client Service Centre; ensuring service continuity in responding to inquiries and urgent requests from the public, elected officials, internal staff, and other government agencies through a variety of platforms (primarily by phone and including electronic/web, email and in-person) in the most efficient and professional manner possible, minimizing referrals and transfers to other subject matter experts, where possible, and ensuring follow up where requested.  Work is performed in accordance with corporate/departmental/branch policies, procedures, standards and guidelines, as well as any applicable legislation/regulations, and in meeting performance and quality assurance standards. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of Grade 12 
Post-secondary education and/or training related to Customer Services is an asset

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a customer service environment, providing service to the public by telephone, in person, in writing and electronically in a multi-service environment, such as a in call centre and/or a counter service operations 

KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of customer service delivery mechanisms and computer programs as they relate to products and services within the Client Service Centre
  • Customer Service practices and strategies to resolving customer related complaints
  • Corporate Microsoft computer applications MSWord , Outlook, Excel, Internet Explorer/Ozone, and job specific programs such as LAGAN, Knowledge BASE, Ottawa.ca, MAP, ITX, VTAX, Aqacis,CLASS, RSVP, Autoprocess, SAP, etc.
  • General office equipment
  • Corporate cash handling procedures, operation of cash register, balancing cash and preparing daily deposits
  • Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including the rights and duties of workers.
  • Knowledge of City of Ottawa organizational structure, services and personnel is an asset

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Monitors physical security operations at the client Datacenter. 
  2. Monitors cameras and access control systems covering data calls and entry/exit doors. 
  3. Dispatches appropriate personnel, as necessary. 
  4. Maintains logs and records in accordance with the Datacenter Standard Operations Procedure (SOP). 
  5. Identifies and escalates issues in accordance with documented policies and procedures. 
  6. Reviews all reports written during shift. 
  7. Ensures all scheduled posts are filled. 
  8. Briefs oncoming Supervisor/Team about incidents during shift or in progress.
  9. Maintains documentation and follows standardized procedures to successfully complete unannounced audits. 
  10. Collects complete information for detailed report and appropriate follow-up. Prepares well written reports and maintains strict distribution to “need to know” parties. 
  11. Cross-training will be provided for all site-based roles, enabling you to step in for other position coverage and offer relief breaks to guards, when required by operational needs.

  13. Read and comprehends standard operations procedures, post orders, reports, and other printed materials.
