Reporting to the Distribution Manager this position is an active participant in the Saskatchewan/Manitoba/NWO distribution team and will provide confidential support for the team and be responsible for a range of duties.

Salary - $78,000 – 97,000

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Responsible for analyzing and supervising all aspects of the distribution operations in an efficient and effective manner.
• Responsible to ensure improvements in procedures and practices within the department.
• Achieve the Distribution & Logistics mandate; the continued pursuit of reducing the cost to land all ordered product, at the Customers F.O.B. point, on time, every time.
• Maintain current knowledge of operational systems including, but not limited to, Transport, DSD and Contracted Distributor Operations.
• Assist in establishing an annual operating budget for the Distribution department.
• Effective management of company assets.
• Establish and perform an annual route audit & ride along schedule with all routes within your responsibility.
• Establish and perform an annual business review schedule with all Contracted Distributors within your responsibility.
• Participate in the contract renewal process with your Contracted Distributors.
• Undertake proactive communication sessions with all departments on a regular basis.
• Leadership of personnel through proactive communications, participation and individual feedback and appraisal.
• Understand and apply company policies and procedures in a firm, fair and consistent manner.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in operations/distribution management, business, transportation or warehousing preferred.  
• Thorough knowledge of distribution, shipping, operations management, business, transportation or warehousing. 
• 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in distribution or warehouse operations are preferred.
• Knowledge and experience of SAP is an asset. 
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and in particular, Excel 
• Able to make effective presentations to diverse groups. 
• Knowledge and experience of the Dairy Industry is an asset. 
• Knowledge and experience of applicable regulations, health and safety, public safety and security, administration and management, transportation principles and methods, change management principles and methods, personnel and human resources, labor relations, financials, customer and personal service, English language, other languages as required, and production and processing.

The position holder will be responsible for supporting the administration supervisor in various tasks related to the coordination and control of operations of this department of the Ville St-Laurent distribution center.

Contributing in this role means:

• Analyze daily transactions related to distribution routes;

• Check route inventories to ensure transaction accuracy;

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role supervises maintenance activities at the Edmonton Main Plant. It ensures compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards and regulations while maintaining productivity.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to supervising, coaching, scheduling, task and labor management, and enhancing team skills through methods like coaching, directing and communicating.

The Maintenance Supervisor also collaborates with various departments to ensure effective maintenance operations and supports the supply chain specialist with inventory and procurement processes.  Verifying assigned maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner, ensuring quality work is also accomplished.

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Lead and coach maintenance teams by fostering proactive communication, enhancing employee engagement, managing disciplinary actions, encouraging participation, providing individualized feedback, and conducting performance appraisals. Utilize, review, and maintain the computerized maintenance system for tasks, requests, and parts inventory control.

• Ensure compliance with CFIA and audit expectations during maintenance tasks, adhering to food safety standards and enforcing safe work regulatory requirements.

• Promote safe working conditions and ensure all maintenance team members understand and follow safe work procedures.

• Provide shift reports and communicate equipment and job statuses to relevant personnel and departments to foster a collaborative approach.

• Manage, develop, and mentor employees by leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes for recurring issues.

• Enhance departmental performance, productivity, and cost control by identifying recurring problems and preparing preventative and scheduled work orders within a determined timeframe.

• Conduct trend analysis, tracking, and forecasting to determine the lifecycle of equipment and parts.

• Perform administrative functions as required and carry out any additional duties as assigned.

• Post-secondary Diploma or degree in a related field or trade certification (millwright preferred)

• Three or more years of verifiable maintenance supervision or management experience within a manufacturing environment is a requirement

• Technical knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (SAP or Fiix is preferred)

• Efficient with MS Office and computer proficiency include knowledge on PLC logic is required

• Highly organized with strong analytical, coordination and communication skills

• Is comfortable working independently and with a team, with the ability to be flexible

• Proficient and dependable in current position, high level troubleshooter and analytical skills

• Perform access control provision duties, verify visitors coming on-site and parking enforcement. Dispatch duties via radio communication accepting all radio calls.

The Mass and Core Payment Technology Team is looking for a Senior Solutions Design IT Specialist to contribute to the build of applications from scratch as well as to maintain them.

The Mass and Core Payment team is responsible for creating new payment rails like mentioned in #2 and #3 Enhancing current payment rails like Visa Money Transfer, North bound Money Movement, Domestic Account to account, Domestic Bill payments, EFT's, ACH's Enhancing shared services like File transformations app interfacing mailboxes/kafka

The core dev team is in Toronto with support being provided by onshore and Singapore resources.
