Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the management of the Maintenance department to ensure the efficiency of the highest quality product at the lowest cost, while meeting customer demands.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all facility equipment is maintained up to company standards.
- Ensure plant is in compliance with all federal and provincial regulations along with company policies/procedures.
- Monitor QI (Quality Index) daily and provide recommendations to solve quality issues.
- Develop and continuously analyze budget versus planned forecast and report monthly or as needed.
- Conduct scheduled meetings (department, safety).
- Develop workforce through supervision, coaching, and training.
- Ensure all plans and strategies are effectively communicated throughout the department.
- Review, alter, and approve all departmental scheduling issues.
- Review and approve contractors’ form.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree completed, and/or equivalent work experience required.
- 3 years’ experience in a Maintenance/manufacturing unionized environment while supervising a team.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement/High Volume Manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and WHMIS.
- Millwright or Electrical certification preferred.
- Intermediate computer and database application skills such as SAP.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems.
- Experience working in the Beverage and Food Manufacturing (asset).

Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-ordered products to customers on assigned route using a Coke Canada Bottling fleet truck.
- Check accuracy and stability of truck load.
- Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Offload products and bring into the customer’s location.
- Merchandise product into customer location as needed.
- Collect company property.
- Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
- Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
Qualifications
- Commercial License with Air (Class 1 or AZ) with no major violations over the last three (3) years.
- One (1) plus year of commercial driving experience.
- One to three years of general work experience.
- Local delivery experience preferred.
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance.
- Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.

Job Description
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at a customer's assigned site ensuring the safety and security of customer property and personnel.
- Conducts periodic patrols to check for irregularities and inspect protective devices and fire-fighting equipment.
- Maintains order and may act to enforce site regulations and guidelines regarding staff, visitors and premises.
- Controls access to the customer's site or facility through the admission process.
- Patrols an assigned site on foot or by vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems and controlling unauthorized persons.
- Protects evidence or incident scenes in the event of an accident, emergency or security investigation.
- Responds to fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, water leaks, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, severe weather and other incidents.
- Prepares logbooks and reports as required.
Note: Specific duties may vary and be documented separately. Employee may not be required to perform all duties listed. Additional duties may be assigned and duties modified as business needs dictate.
Job Requirements
- Valid security guard license (BSP).
- Valid first aid certificate (CPR).
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (required)
- Bilingualism - French and English (mandatory)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work long hours standing
- Good physical condition to carry out surveillance rounds.
