The Finance Analyst is a full-time position responsible for analyzing and reporting production results with a deeper dive into identifying trends and investigating variances.  You will interact frequently with people in various levels of the organization.  This position is also responsible for executing standard control processes and ensuring accuracy of plant financial reporting related to their area.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

• Ensure results are correctly reported and provide daily and weekly production reports for your area
• Investigate variances, determine root causes, analyze production trends, and recommend actions to minimize/improve
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform Inventory Analytics articulating write off risks, slow moving items, assess reserve requirements, and coordinate/facilitate inventory counts
• Overhead Variance reporting and analytics
• Participate and support the annual budget process, month end close activities, and weekly results forecasting
• Collaborate with Sr. Finance Analyst and Finance Manager on special projects as assigned.
• Provide coverage for finance team members as required.
• Design, test, implement and maintain procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Maple Leaf reporting and financial analysis processes and execute testing as required
• Be active and participate in Six Sigma projects.

What You’ll Bring:

• Post-secondary education in a finance/business related program is required
• Manufacturing experience is an asset
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset
• Experience in Microsoft Office is essential (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Self-motivated with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving, analytical, time management, and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non- financial functions.

Security Agent on Call

We are looking for motivated security agents to join our teams at our sites in Montreal. 

*Vehicle requirement: Must have a vehicle due to the difficulty of accessing the site by public transport.

Working hours

• AVAILABLE 24/7
  This position is temporary with the possibility of extension depending on operational needs.

Note: The start date is scheduled for the beginning of March.

Job Description

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at a customer's assigned site ensuring the safety and security of customer property and personnel.
• Conducts periodic patrols to check for irregularities and inspect protective devices and fire-fighting equipment.
• Maintains order and may act to enforce site regulations and guidelines regarding staff, visitors and premises.
• Controls access to the customer's site or facility through the admission process.
• Patrols an assigned site on foot or by vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems and controlling unauthorized persons.
• Protects evidence or incident scenes in the event of an accident, emergency or security investigation.
• Responds to fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, water leaks, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, severe weather and other incidents.
• Prepares logbooks and reports as required.

Job Requirements

• Valid  security guard license  (BSP).
• Valid  first aid certificate  (CPR).
• Valid driver's license   and access to a vehicle (required)
• Bilingualism   - French and English (mandatory)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work long hours standing
• Good physical condition to carry out surveillance rounds.

• Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client property and assets.Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
• Uses computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic trainings.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid provincial Security Guard License 
• Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Reliable means of transportation
• Excellent organizational skills
• Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
• Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
• First Aid/ CPR is considered an asset
