JOB SUMMARY
Hospitality Services is responsible for the planning, coordinated development, management and implementation of food, nutrition and environmental activities, programs, services and initiatives to the residents of a municipal long term care facility.
You are responsible for the preparation and/or serving of meals to residents, day centre clients, staff, and Meals-on-Wheels recipients, and for catering during special events; for the cleaning and maintenance of Food Services equipment and utensils; and for the disposal of waste, with an emphasis on resident safety and engagement. Work is performed in accordance with Public Health regulations, Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021and Food Premises Act.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 1 year Food Service Worker program or enrolled and attending a Food Service Worker program at a College of Applied Arts and Technology with completion expected within the year.
Minimum of 6 months of experience in institution health care food service

What you’ll do:

Model and track the flow of all physical fluid movements and manage the contractual transactions through HMGP’s gathering systems and terminals to meet all customer and fluid movement requirements

You will utilize your heavy-duty mechanical experience to focus on the maintenance requirements for designated heavy equipment including Haul Trucks, Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Excavators and other support equipment.

Key Accountabilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and clean heavy equipment as assigned
- Utilize computerized and other testing equipment to determine repairs and create detailed service reports
- Make recommendations regarding repairs and methods for improvement
- Interpret and complete both scheduled and unscheduled work orders
- Contribute to the ongoing reliability of all heavy equipment and complete preventative maintenance requirements
- Test repaired equipment to verify proper maintenance
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of working on mining equipment, specifically supporting off road heavy equipment
- Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyperson Certificate in Alberta and/or an Interprovincial Red Seal Certificate
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Basic understanding of computer based Mine Maintenance Planning Programs and Microsoft Office suite
