This position is an entry-level sales position responsible for retaining and growing UPS’s Small Package business. He/She performs primary responsibilities including sales calls to address customer needs, selling additional products and services, and following up on leads. This position builds relationships with key decision makers and serves as a customer advocate. He/She researches the competitive environment and uses product knowledge to generate solutions that meet customer’s needs and business objectives. This position performs pre-call duties including use of automated sales tools to perform research into customers’ businesses and account information to develop appropriate selling and pricing strategies. He/She makes outbound cold calls to meet monthly sales targets. This position creates contacts (e.g., cold calls, etc.), monitors contractual compliance, and answers customer questions.

Responsibilities:

• Responds to and resolves customer inquiries, complaints, and issues.

• Coordinates opportunities and strategies with other team members.

• Maintains knowledge of UPS products and services to develop appropriate sales solutions.

• Reviews customer shipping practices to ensure contractual compliance.

• Determines customer discounts and writes new contracts.

• Educates customers on UPS’s service channels to expedite problem resolution.

• Provides compelling value proposals to potential and existing customers.

Qualifications:

• Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent software

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred

• UPS and/or business-to-business or business-to-consumer sales experience - Preferred

Details:

• Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5pm

• Work Location: Remote

• Job Grade: 10A/10B | Salary: $20.40/hr

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars .

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Availability to work flexible shirt hours, up to 5 days per week
• Warehouse experience - Preferred

Responsible for pre-tripping trailers and performing minor repairs as required.

How You’ll Help

• Pre-trip trailers in both dock doors and yard and perform minor repairs as reqired
• Work with dispatch and dock to identify trailers to be pre-tripped
• Minor repairs to trailers include but not limited to, lights, glad-hands, etc
• Operate a motor vehicle equipped for pre-tripping trailers
• Report deficiencies to maintenance manager or shift supervisor
• Other related duties as may be required.

Your Skills & Experience: 

• Post secondary education
• A suitable combination of education and experience may also be considered.
• Experience in maintenance department is considered an asset

  • Computer skills – data entry accuracy; strong knowledge of MS Office products and web based programs; knowledge and/or experience with AS400 a strong asset.

The scope of this position is to be responsible for developing, managing, implementing and analyzing Interline Operational processes. The Manager, Carrier Relations provides leadership for continuous performance improvement, effective measurement of performance and identification and implementation of corrective actions. 

How You’ll Help

• Manage Day to Day Carrier Operations to achieve On Time Pickup and Deliveries. Requires interaction with other departments and Carrier Partners.
• Develop and implement Carrier SOP’s nationally, including applicable and required training for both Internal and External Stakeholders.

• Manage Interline Carrier EDI/Web forms transmission to ensure compliance to corporate requirements.

• Achieve Service and Cost Target. Identify opportunities to increase profitability.

Your Skills & Experience: 

• College diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience desired, preferably in the areas of business management and/or Transportation.
• 3+ years of people management experience
• 5+ years’ experience in Transportation/Logistics industry 
• Excellent process development and documentation skills
• Strong analytical attributes with ability to synthesize complex or diverse information
• Advanced problem solving ability
• Advanced working knowledge of Contract/Tariff comparative analytics

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to manage pickup coordination across Newfoundland and Labrador (NL), Nova Scotia (NS), Prince Edward Island (PEI), and New Brunswick (NB). This role requires a solid understanding of Atlantic Canada’s geography and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment

How You’ll Help: 

• Coordinate and assign daily pickup requests across terminals.
