The world of inside sales is changing. Digital technology and online meetings have shifted the way we conduct business in terms of accessing information, accessing our clients and accessing results. However, building and developing new relationships still requires the fundamental art of conversation.
What you will be doing
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) works closely with the Wholesaler to generate sales and develop new business along with servicing and managing existing clients about Dynamic products. As a vital member of the sales team, the ISR must be exceedingly knowledgeable in company and competitor products and policies, industry changes, market conditions, and client business practices. The ISR uses daily phone contact, rather than face to face meetings, to build relationships and increase sales. The ISR must also work closely with the SA, including them in the work of the team.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Supports the Wholesaler by promptly following up on meetings, road shows, events and web casts;
- Initiates phone contact with clients to begin or expand on existing relationships (20 activity points or calls a day);
- Keeps an archive of all the relevant information pertaining to the products, policies, procedures and rules for dissemination to the clients;
- Ensure regional events and road shows are well attended by using outbound call campaigns;
- Occasionally, some representatives will travel and attend their own individual meetings. Will be required to attend meetings with the wholesaler at least once a month;
- Collaborate with the SA to determine priorities and tasks to be completed;
- Make daily Purchase and Redemption calls to clients in order to identify trends, prospects and first time tickets;
- Create broadcast emails with pertinent marketing and product information to advisors via ODD filters and share with the sales department;
- Data Mine using the Diagnostic Selling Process & Populate the CRM system (OOD) with all the information retrieved during phone calls and surveys;
- Participate in national, regional, departmental and project group meetings, sharing feedback and information;
- Assist wholesaler in the segmentation of the client base to define the service levels and to ensure sales from various distribution channels and firms (250-400);
- Act as a liaison with the Product Manager in order to set up Manager meetings, conferences calls and web casts;
- Escalate client issues to appropriate department and your wholesaler; and
- Involved in special projects as required
- Assist wholesaler in developing a strategic business plan for the year and review it quarterly with the team to increase sales from advisors in our territory;

The MD Admissions Advisor is responsible for coordinating the admissions process for the Cumming School of Medicines MD Program. Responsibilities include providing advising to prospective and current applicants, providing administrative support for the Admissions Committee and acting as the primary adjudicator of questions regarding applicant eligibility.
Reporting to the Manager, MD Admissions with accountabilities to the Assistant Dean and to the Associate Director.
Position Description
Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):
- Program Coordination
- Provides technical assistance/advice to applicants and referees during the application cycle
- Advises applicants on accurately entering transcript information into UCAN and advises on the calculation of their GPA
- Assists applicants with graduate degree forms and general advice with the online application process
- Manages the intake of thousands of transcripts and prepares them for entry into UCAN, including manual uploading and prepping for outside agency to scan
- Liaises with main campus recruiters to advise them of the current requirements to the MD program
- Liaises with the Leaders in Medicine (LIM) Program Coordinator and LIM Director regarding incoming students and current requirements for both programs
- Accountable for the Applicant Manual and ensures it is updated and edited for the start of the application process
- Coordination of the Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI) in collaboration with the Assistant Dean and Manager
- Works closely with the Admissions Team in the admission offer process, including acceptance emails, waiting lists and refusals
- Verifies the list of admitted students
- Meets and advises prospective students to answer any specific questions before sending an application
- Advises candidates whose file requires special attention owing to exceptional circumstances
- Leadership
- Communicates as required with other medical school Admissions Offices regarding common issues
- Advises current/prospective applicants to the MD program in both a one-one-one and group setting regarding the requirements for application into the MD program, and guides them through the admissions process
- Corresponds with current/prospective applicants via email, phone or mail regarding the MD admissions requirements
- Coordinates meetings and workshops for the Admissions Selection Committee (ASC). This includes recruiting ASC members, attending meetings, taking the minutes and supporting the ASC Committee as required
- Advises and assists other college/high school career advisors on the MD admissions process
- Represents the Cumming School of Medicines MD Program on the MD Admissions process, on and off campus, to prospective students
- Plans and implements recruitment activities for high schools and post-secondary institutions, and evaluates the success of these recruitment efforts
- Working closely with the Admissions Assistant Dean and manages ongoing strategic communications with high school and post-secondary independent counselors, including email, print, web and other media
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience is required
- Experience in an undergraduate medical environment is required
- Previous experience in an advisory role is required
- Ability to successfully manage and keep track of large volumes of applicant inquiries and provide accurate and timely advice is required
- The ability to work independently demonstrating good judgment in a fast-paced environment with many conflicting priorities
- Ability to work outside of regular work hours as required. Regular work week schedule (Monday to Friday - 830 am – 430 pm) with occasional variances in start and end time, and may be expected to attend events or provide service outside normal working hours
- Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal communication skills, including written and verbal required
- Strong critical thinking, judgement and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict and multiple timelines

- Write moderate to complex code/scripts to test systems.
- Be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a modular, extensible, and reusable test automation framework to enable continuous testing in a DevOps environment.
- Develop code to automate the testing (Unit/ Integration) of Datahub/Lake, microservices (Rest APIs) and ensure adequate test coverage of the application code.
- Collaborate with development engineers during story and task breakdown to develop a test approach that effectively covers the functional and performance characteristics of a feature.
- Build, maintain, and enhance the existing automation framework, test harness, and processes.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the usage of the entire application suite, processes, workflows, etc.
- Work with the Engineering team Management to improve the testing process.
- Understand enterprise software design principles – architecture, design patterns, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Comfortably work in a self-guided manner with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your own time efficiently, without direct input or oversight.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- A proven track record in software quality assurance, demonstrating over 7 years of experience as a test automation developer.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Test Automation experience applying Java/Python/Robot Framework.
- Proficiency in SQL queries, especially for data comparison in test scenarios.
- Practical experience in automating web-based APIs and database-centric applications.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Solid understanding of GIT/Bitbucket (source code management tool) and CI/CD Pipeline.
- Comfortable working in a diverse environment with a variety of banking & financial applications, innovative automation technologies, and testing tools.
- Knowledge/experience in Java ORM Frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring DAO.
- Exposure to RDBMS such as Oracle or Sybase. Knowledge and experience with SQL queries.
- It would be a plus if you have experience in building, integrating, and deploying web services (REST/ SOAP/JSON/XML).
