We are currently hiring a Senior Marketing Manager, Strategic Ventures based in our Head Office in Burnaby.
The Senior Marketing Manager, Strategic Ventures is a strategic and results-driven marketing leader who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. With a strong passion for innovation and growth, this role is responsible for building and scaling industry-leading marketing programs across BCAA’s newest and most exciting business lines.
You will lead the marketing strategy and execution for Evolve E-Bike and E-Scooter Share, BCAA Task Marketplace, BCAA Auto Marketplace, and BCAA Connect. You will have full accountability for developing and delivering integrated marketing, brand, and communication strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and measurable business performance across these ventures.

What you’ll do:
-
Lead the development and execution of end-to-end strategic marketing plans, budgets, and forecasts for Strategic Ventures business lines, including Evolve E-Bike and E-Scooter Share, BCAA Auto Marketplace, BCAA Task Marketplace, and BCAA Connect.

Own marketing performance and accountability for business growth goals, key performance indicators, and performance targets aligned to BCAA’s strategic plan.

Create high-impact marketing materials, proposals, and sales tools to drive adoption and business growth.

Develop and optimize customer lifecycle strategies and end-to-end customer journeys using a customer-centric, data-informed approach.

Collaborate closely with BCAA internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated campaigns across digital, print, and in-person channels.

Build brand presence through community partnerships, events, and activations that engage members and strengthen BCAA’s reputation.

Manage budgets, track performance, and optimize campaigns to ensure maximum reach, engagement, and ROI.

Provide leadership, coaching, and inspiration to a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and strong engagement across the organization.

Shape creative campaigns and lead a team that drives awareness, adoption, and meaningful community connections. By working hand-in-hand with BCAA teams and partners, you’ll fuel engagement and the long-term success of Strategic Ventures.
What you bring:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; post-graduate education is an asset.

7–10 years of progressive, senior-level marketing experience with a proven track record of growing products, services, or brands.

Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience, including managing and developing manager-level direct reports.

Demonstrated experience in start-up or new product environments, ideally within mobility and/or two-sided marketplace businesses.

Proven success developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
-
Strong financial acumen, with experience managing marketing budgets and performance targets.
-
Expertise across both digital and traditional marketing channels.
-
Strategic mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and adapt quickly in evolving environments.

Bonus Skills and Experience:
-
Experience with community engagement, event marketing, or sustainability-focused initiatives.

Background in digital product management and/or public relations.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 and is determined viajob-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 20%.
Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 on-site / 2 remote days). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.

- Oversee all project marketing execution through the sales cycle including the development of project marketing/sale strategies and budgeting, right through to project naming and brand design, collateral suite creation, and sales campaign activation
